No. there is a pump that circulates chilled water thru the lamp, then there is a second pump that pumps water thru the co2. they share the same rez.Are you running water into the water heater then the light ? No that wouldn
't work... from the tank to the light then to the heater and back to the tank. Right What kind of controller do you use to turn the heater on.
love the setup man. awesome liquid co2 setup can you explain more about it in detail here or in a pm with more pics. Wanna get a similar one going in my budding room. + rep great set up.
they are at 5 weeks so 3-4 weeks left. Will have recent pics up tonight I hope. When are these beauties due? What are you expecting to yield? I just started in on something myself. 4 fresca Sols (600Wx4) Gonna run it on 12 Sour Kush and 12 MadMan OG. Ill be using Co2.
Also on the cooling, Im running a 1/4HP Chiller, how big of a res should I look at using? I wanna keep these lights pretty cool 72-77 degrees Since i want to hang one light into 6 plants. I may just need to do some testing....Would a 1/10HP Chiller be suffcient?
Also Hanging the lights into the plants as opposed to just throwing them over the plant, Will i see an increase in yield?
Finally...Last question, I know there are alot here so answer what you can....Should I rotate the plants daily to give it a more complete light coverage, or just let the plants grow (assuming I hang my lights in vertically)?
Appreciate that, don't get me wrong, I'm hopeing for more but would be way happy with another lb of blueberry.Budley I think most of us would be really surprised if you don't get more than a pound. I don't know what your light loss is over open bulb, but the way you have it in a smaller area is probably ideal to compensate for that and you've got everything else ideal too.
I think a lot of us expect big things here.
Actually to save you some time....It looks like I found something for my C02, eztankless.com they have some affordable units very similar to what it looks like you have. Ill be taking a closer look at this over the next week to see if it will work out for me.
Mines approaching 12 months of continuous use. I expect to replace it every 3 years. for a whopping 100 bucks, you can easily up the capacity for 50-100 more or just use 2 units. Much more flexible. You can also use an insulated ice chest for the rez. Seen a number of guys do it that way.Thank for the info, I think ill be trying your DIY chiller. I would love to run 4 1000 watts but my current Electrical is limiting me.
.
Like I said earlier that's the same unit I have. It's still on ebay for 195 shipped. Mine was shipped priority mail from Puerto Rico, only took 2 days. I'm very pleased with my co2 setup. A standard tank will likely last over a year. Im looking at doing a DIY C02 controller as well with the ventostat 8002, Ill let you know how that turns out. It would be nice to save that $400 on the C02 controller
