I transplanted my Kannabia Special into a 5 gallon bucket.
she looked a little sad but I know she will perk right back up and grow like a beast.:blsmoke:

Leave comments/suggestions!! I need something to reply to! :peace:
PICTURE TIME! :D

1.) Northern Lights. AKA Sammy, day 35. from FIMming I got 3 tops. She just keeps growing.
2.) Kannabia Special. day 21. She is still looking sad from the transplant.

Such cute little compact plants... That's the way to start though, without a good beginning you can't really control the end. They are looking great and seem to have plenty of light and root space.
A+ for effort

I had a runt plant too. I called it my dwarf. In the end she finally stretched out and budded up and was wonderful. Keep that shorty as long as she keeps growing. I'll bet it knocks you on your ass when its done, more so than the sisters.

lol, thats what a few people have told me now, they say it will be the best plant when it figures its own life out. lol

But yea I am very proud of this grow, may only be my second, but I feel like ive accomplished so much and its not even half way over :D

Sometimes those dwarfs have some interesting things they want to work out. I had the most leaved leaf come off my dwarf than I've ever seen. It was wonderful, it also had hermi tendencies, but, who cares. It still smoked out awesome! Didn't even seed, or I'd be growing it out again. There are some miracles of nature you will see if you don't always judge before they have time to show what they have to offer.

Is it just the angle? That 1st NL looks like it has 4 tops!

Might be a little on small side, but I think having them in those big 5 gallon buckets so early is making them seem a little smaller than they really are in pics.

What's your watering routine like? Normally, you would want to saturate the entire substrate and wait for it to dry out before watering again. In this case it is tricky since the plants are so small for such big pots it would take forever for them to dry out and you don't want the roots saturated for that long. Still, you might want to water a little deeper. Especially with those bigger NL. Looking at the pics of those two, it looks like you are only sparsely watering the top layer of soil. Try watering a little deeper and less often. Maybe the top 1/3 or 1/2 of the soil. Gradually, you can start watering deeper and deeper. Once they get big, you'll be watering til saturation. Just my 2 cents. Anyone else want to chime in on this one? This is just a hunch, but I feel like right now, having them in such big buckets, the plants are putting most of their energy into producing roots to fill up all that space rather than producing more foliage.

Thanks for the input man! and you are right she does have 4 tops, actually 5, but one isnt doing anything, and she is about 7 inches tall, right now.
the second is about 5 inches. but I started LST about 5 hours ago.

I a being carful with watering. I dont want to overwater, or any of that. im just trying to figure out what works best ya know?
Like how much should water like in mL? and slowly add more to make it go deeper?
Like I have yet to find a thread that explains how much to water in mL. I know its difficult but I would like a starting point, ive been doing about 200-250mL every 2 days and lightly mist the soil daily. that okay?

Only waiting will know for sure, try not to water until they look like they really want water from now on.
you should probably transplant the picture number 4 aswell, 23 days is like 3 weeks allt he nutrients should be out of that cup if you started her in it.

Thanks man! Ill transplant is tomorrow, after the soil dries a little bit, I looked at it when the lights were off, and it looks better then when the lights were on? could it be too much light?
or maybe it could have been low on water?

I dont think too much light is a factor in veg, lots of people go 24/0, i'm doing 24/0 just because I don't have a timer hah.
some people say if you do 24/0 you aren't giving the plant time to rest and relax, and lights off is when the roots expand
but to be honest, i've had better luck with roots progressing and plants growing with 24/0 then I did with 18/6.
i'm not thinking it could be low on water, it's a weed and i'm sure you're watering it.

keep it up.

Yea I like the northern lights being small, and its nice for learning,
You can buy all the stuff for under 400 I paid $145 for the light, $90 for the tent, $40 for 2 bags of FFOF and $120 for 170CFM and carbon filter.

But I sure I spent over 700 because I as a dumb ass lol. Dont think you can improvise if you want to do it right.
Just get the right stuff the first time (: even though it seems like a lot more money at one time. its really cheaper in the long run.

Lol opps didnt mean to quote myself

Damn for 700 you got a deal.
I'm probably up at about 1200$ after nutes meters pots soil perlite water and all major tent equipment :p
a wise man once told me not to pay attention to how much you spend, you'll be better off.
can you put a price on smoking weed that you personally grew?
nobody can say shit to you when you're lighting this shit up, YOU GREW IT.
ahh I can't wait. lol.
