either grab some tweezers and repostion it or sprinkle some soil ontop...as long as 1 part of the seed is int the soil it should straighten itself out

do u mean the roots gone down and pushed the seed casing and the new stem up, but the seed casing is still on? or the seeds turned upside down and seed is in soil and tap root is out..

if its the first thats cool jus switch a light on and the leaves will be out within hours,, take it easy, if its the latter do as directed above

Not alot that you can do in a situation like this apart from get some soil in a small pot wet the soil with water with nothing in it just ph it around 6.0 will do place it in a small hole that you make make and sprinkle some of the moist soil over the top of the seed. Then pray.

seems the norm 2 me m8.. i start seeds in paper towel then wen tap root shows put root first into rockwool starter cube,,,,within a day or so the root will have secured into the rockwool and the seed casing is above "ground".. i then place under 125w cfl blue and within 24 hrs the first leaves say hello:)

so how do others do it then,, the casing is off before it breaks ground???

Just keep it moist, it will shed. The yellow is normal. The cots will green up in a day or so of shedding the husk. Pics would be cool but I think from what you have posted its just normal germination.

ya the stem looks pretty yellowish but isee some hints of green. i took the seed case off and discarded it right beside the stem. i see some tiny dark spots on the stem. i am really hoping it kicks the rest of this darn husk

i would just like to point out that seeds know which way is up and down , but im not sure how they work it out tho. i did happen to have some shit bag seed and i put my germinated seed with the tap root facing up "tap root was 1cm long" and eventually as long as it doesnt dry out it finds its way back to the soil... i have seen MJ tap roots grow upto 6-7 cms long"and thats out of the sole " i just left them in wet papper towels

okay well i spoke too soon after leaving her right in the real bright sunlight(so much snow reflection here in ont canada) and letting a drip of water come off my finger onto the sprout..she seems to be opening up some more..sweet!!
