wrong. Even if the brick weed was green and good the farmers still pull those nice vigorous males in the fields of mass production. Its the runted deformed males under the height of the plants that go unnoticed and seeds everything- that and hermies...so you're always using screwed up genetics. I done this once and wasted my f'n money on electricity and nutes and I promise it isn't a worthwhile experiment imho except if you were trying to prove statements like mine as factual.

What's really sad is dirt weed from Mexico is really a good strain. I snagged some beans from a sack grew em in water farms and turned out some awesome bud - triple bag skunk with trics abound. I sold some to the dude that gave me the shit weed, and he LOVED it. At dank prices! The Mex growers are just f'n stupid or lazy and they really like their nitrogen and males lol...
In my experience it's age that determines bud choice over 40+ love their shit weed and cheap prices - 30's can go either way - 20's dank or nothing. I'm sure there are exceptions but for the most part.

Oddly enough, a lot of this crap is grown near CA., in AZ and NM. The cartels use our soil to avoid smuggling.

In my experience, it's just the opposite. I'm 45, and it's actually all determined by geographics/economics etc. If I took my stuff down to a shitty neighborhood in any major city, they wouldn't pay my asking price. Yet at the same time, I could easily compete with the brick by matching prices.

About a year and a half ago we started getting some good green brickweed instead of the brown. It was the same price 90/oz. It does not amount to anything, nonetheless I was told the mexis have stepped up their game and they are growing in big greenhouses.
The seeds from this grew a great looking plant, dense hard buds but not very stoney

Once again that must be region specific, ie east coast. Because I dont think any of the other heads here in Cali are not accustom to chronic by now. Older heads out this way most often have the best gear.
Younger kids dont know anything else, that I can agree with.

When I finally got my shit right, I went for the high end market (so I thought) and idiots kept telling me that they could get an Oz of "Killer" for $100 rather than the $400 I was asking. I even gave 'em a sample. That only made them come at me even more, but were unwilling (more like unable) to pay my price. I FINALLY, over about a year and a half, upgraded the clientele to the Professionals crowd and the Arts community, and have no prob getting $600, and they usually buy a QP at a time. If you lay with dogs.....

I saw brick weed for the first time in years last week...and guess where??...a fuckin dispensary!!...lol...now first thing you must know is they always and only carry top quality meds....so I was like , WTF?...$8 a gram...I wouldn't pay $8 an oz!...lol...I told him to throw that shit away.

That's how I got my start growing, used the beans from some of the better green brick down in Florida. Now that stuff packed a punch, and was sativa dominant...definitely in the skunk family and probably grown domestically.
