Seedling dies

So I use jiffy pellets to pop seeds. I’m sure many of you are against this method but, I’ve germinated so many “bag seeds” in them that I have grown used to this method over the napkin method.
That isn’t the problem. I recently started popping some bag seeds, and then I bought 6 seeds online.
Autoflowers, mazar and tangie. So 1 seed didn’t pop, 1 did but, once I removed it from the homemade jiffy dome and put it into the pot it shriveled up and died. My question is can I do when transferring the jiffy pellet into soil?

Another possibility is your seeding may have dampened off once planted. I run my seedlings in soil and this is a pretty common thing. The seeding is attacked by the bacteria and fungus and just withers and is gone. I know you are in jiffys but might be something to consider. Sprinkling a little cinnamon on the surface of the medium will stop the bad stuff from attacking the taproot

Nope not in all cases, depending on climate humidity can be extremely low in winter months, seen it first hand
Looks like this wasn’t one of those cases
I can’t even remember what year I last lost a seedling
And you aren’t my type sorry :hump:
