Yes. Definitely a little small for their age...lol

These plants are 11 days old as well:

They look stressed out, burnt, and dry as the desert. 18" is pretty damn close for baby seedlings they don't need much light. Get some passive air blowing on them 24/7 and water them when they are dry. What are those bricks you're using as seedling starters? :wall:

I don’t think his growth rate is about to improve either…exposing his roots to air and light

reminds me of guys that wear their pants down to their knees.

Get yourself some 4" pots or some solo cups. Get some decent proper starter mix and transplant these brick rocks you have into these pots and start a proper watering regiment. You NEED a fan blowing on your plants 24/7 - no ambient air flow from your LED fans doesn't count. When you have your soil exposed like that on the sides your roots self prune themselves the second they hit the edge. Not ideal at all.

Honestly I would start over at this point and ask as many questions as I possibly could.

so would you move on from here when I plan to put them in dwc
What they are in right now is not working. At the very least please just give them some water and proper containers. Moving to your DWC setup at this point might be a better idea, right now the conditions they are in are not conducive to growth.

thanks for everyone's help
Every little thing adds up to big issues
So exposing your roots slows growth
Not moving them quickly to final medium slows growth
Not feeding if in hydro by now slows growth
Are you seeing a theme here?
So being nonchalant about seedlings in early stages all the way to harvest
SLOWS GROWTH
good luck :peace:
