Seedling in 15l pot.

Hey everyone, I've been having some doubts lately about my new grow.

In the middle of Europe the summer is soon to be over (I cannot believe how time flies...) so I decided that apart from my PC grow, I could start a late outdoor grow. I decided to get myself an autoflowering strain and did the usual as in: germinated using the paper towel method (my favourite)... and then disaster struck...

Due to the fact that autoflowers have a certain schedule to complete, they hate any kinds of shock... and a lot of growers recommend planting the seeds in their final destination, to avoid such stress. Naturally, after I planted the seeds I found out that a lot, and I mean a lot of growers don't give a toss, and normally plant seeds into solo cups and from there into bigger pots etc. ( I swear to God, I have no idea how I could have omitted this).

I understand that seedlings in such big enviroments grow "worse" than opposed to those started off in smaller pots. Roots don't strech outwards, but grow downwards and it is much harder to maintain a good watering schedule. Oh, and since it is such a huge pot, salt build-up is likely. <---------------- I should add that I have found some information on how to water in such conditions. I just pour a small circle of water around the stem to encourage the roots to grow outwards and to not keep too much soil moist. Yesterday I watered the plant for the first time, so I make sure that the soil is properly dry.

Now for my question, because no where have I found information on this... should I just "go along with it" and leave the seedling in its pot (I might add that it is about 1 and 1/2 weeks old and it is growing really nicely. Third node of true leaves are starting to develop) or should I transplant (properly) to a much smaller container? Of course I'm not thinking about solo cups, but maybe a 2l pot? Something like that? Will this be too much for the girl to bear or will she be able to pull this off?

Thank you all for your input and sorry for my ignorance.
