Seedlings don't NEED high humidity. I've started plants from seed in a tent with an hps in it where the humidity was 45% and they did fine. It's too early to feed it. Don't feed it till its got about 3 nodes. Also the round leaves (seed leaves) will fall off, don't freak out over them. Goodluck.

I never use a humidifier for seedlings either, but I do put a cap over them the first 3-5 days or so bottom of a platstic bottle.
You are right about the hygrometer though... definitely need one of those. Later on, when you're flowering, you'll want to keep the humidity lower.

The cotyledons are SUPPOSED to yellow and fall off. They exist for the sole purpose of feeding the plant until it has a sufficient root mass to collect its own food. That's why you DON'T FEED TINY SEEDLINGS!
That feeding is likely the reason your seedling is dying.

do you see any point in keeping a sick plant? They should be removed from the garden.
