Seedlings fizzle out, possible causes?

Try using a bigger pot and deeper, water pot down, plant seed. Dont water until pot is dry. They arent growing because of root health. Let the young roots chase the water and your seedling will grow better mud. The roots will be as deep as plant is tall if allowed to. Hope this helps mudballs.

I like to put a capful of h2o2 in my water during the initial seed soak to kill any pathogens in the seed shell. I usually will not let the seeds sink to the bottom but just let them float on the water for 24 and they often sprout if they are fairly fresh. I go cup of water-damp paper towel-soil but that’s just personal preference.

For rare beans I like to use inert medium with no nutrients or bennies like promix and try to be clean as possible, I.e. using tweezers to handle the sprouted beans, if I’m reusing pots I’ll clean em with bleach or physan.

There's water clinging to the side of the cup still. I'm sure you just misted them. Your mud with sticks looks just as wet.

Do you normally leave the seed shell on them? The wire supports are cute too. I'm sure the stretch is genetics too.

You know, ur a brother, you smoke and grow and for that i embrace you...but man you just piss me off sometimes with ur 'tude'.
I have you and countless others on ignore cuz i dont want to be seen as someone that fights often, i wanna be someone in this ganja world, so i remove the temptation to snap back at posts that dont benefit anyone.
Have you seen my grows? My videos? My comments to other new growers? Do i strike you as some dipshit that dont know how to grow a seedling? Thats why i have you on block and check on you from time to time.i even defend you at times, cuz it's the right thing to do. Drop the tude with me plz and ill try to also.

Holy shit we saved one of them, the other one idk. Thnx everyone for chiming in. Seedlings for me should be around 5-7k lux and that's what i had these under, idk what could cause a stall like this ive never seen this before. Wasnt root rot or those coytledons would be yellow by now, that's why it was such a mystery.

I went from 6k lux 15/9 lights(yeah plz dont start in on me about that) to 12k lux you guys are nuts, but it worked, maybe a new trick in my bag idk.
I dropped it back down to 7k lux now that ive seen movement.
So if anybody else runs into a seedling stall, try a lux boost, but you gotta watch em, dont walk away for the entire day and think they'll be fine.

Here's a few of mine today, they are 2-3 days planted. I'm running a MarsHydro TSW1000 at 4 feet, 50% on dimmer. Not really sure of lux or ppfd etc, I go by watts from wall, which is 75 watts at this setting.

They will strengthen. Just have a fan blowing so they are moving a little and try not to micro manage, everytime you disturb them, it's stress.

I sorta dont understand why they stretch like they do when little even with a light very close.its like the photons arnt hitting them little leaves but when they are a little bigger leaves go a little wavy suggesting they are getting too much light lol.so i back it away and leaves flatten out.they seem to like it 8 8 1/2 inches away when older seems to b the sweet spot.some say its the light why they are stretching but i get good growth from them..my meters only a cheap ass one but id say its around the mark..when my plants are under the lumatek zeus pro led and 4 weeks of age im getting slight tacoeing at 29 lux..so dropped it to 23k and they look great..thats what blows me out..i need a propper meter i think..

Ive never ever cared about stretching seedlings myself and see it as sophomoric concern cuz i turn em into a plant but that's me and my oddball greenthumb point of view maybe, hope that dont spark a fight with anyone.
My OP regarded the anomaly in nature i witnessed when in ideal conditions the first true leaves failed to unfurl, over the course of 3 days.
