Seedlings not growing. Help

They popped then they just sat there and haven't changed in 3 days. Using Coast of Maine Stonington and distilled water under a Spider Farmer Se 3000 . Put them in a shot glass of distilled water for a day then in the soil. This happened last time and after 2 weeks of not growing I tossed them. I can't figure it. This has always worked. They only thing changed is the light which is 2 feet above and set on 80%.

It takes about 2 weeks before you notice any serious growth. The first week, the seedlings are working on establishing a strong root system.

Why didn't you fill the cups with soil?
Slow growth is usually associated with lack of oxygen in the root zone due to over watering or little aeration.
I'm confused.........you mentioned this happened last time and you tossed them after 2 weeks.......then you claimed this always worked.

The last grow I used Ffof. They sprouted. The stems turned purple and that was it. No growth for the next two weeks. This grow seems to be doing the same with the Coast of Maine. The one that looks half way decent doesn't have a purple stem. I could just wait a week and see. It seems odd that it's going to hell right off the bat. You usually have a little time.

Sorry no. They're not. Frustrated. The only difference in the past couple of years is the light. It could always be watering but it would take a little while. The last grow I had more growth at the same time as current. The humidity gets down to 55% over night and then back up to 65% during the day. I've just not had this issue. I've messed up plenty but not the first two weeks.

Are you growing the same strain these failed attempts?

Strong EC will slow seedlings down especially if the genetics don’t like rich soil.

I always start in seedling mix then go from there.

What are your temps? Day/night

2 different strains. First dirt bird genetics really cheap. Now elevate8. Temperature at night in the low 70s and during lights on low 80s.

Hmm, temps sound good. As Mick said overwatering can stunt plants.

How much how often you watering them? Bear in mind there’s like half a pint worth of media

I usually spray them twice a day. Not enough to have run off. I don't know exact amount. It could be the problem but it seems like there would still be more growth in the first week. I've overwatered in the past but still had some growth. It seems like these last 2 grows they just stop dead. My grow store guy said try recharge.

Have you ever put this little soil in? Maybe you put some extra in last time cause there ain’t much media at all!

Best way to water soil is every 2 to 3 days just change the amounts given! It needs a drier cycle inbetween waterings.

Of course he recommended you a product lol don’t bother with the recharge.

If I were you I’d stop spraying them and then in 2 or 3 days time depending on how wet the soil is give them like 50 ml. In a full sized cup of soil about 100ml. Bear in mind those cups are tapered so even less soil when not filled completely
