hi,really need some help plz.ok i have 2 white rhino in a bucket each.i germed them usin the paper towel method,as soon as the taproot emerged i planted them in soil.they have both poped thru the soil now.do i now put them on 18/6 under my 400w mh or wait till the round leaves have properly opened?

I would keep them under a CFL until the first set of real leaves open. if your not running the MH for other plants,I would wait a few weeks after the 1st leaves, why burn all that power for so little when a few CFLs will do?

You can put them under the light if you want, but if you do put them further away from the light. Alternatively you can just put it out in on a windowsill until the leave have opened.

Thats the way I do it. Do you have them under a humudity dome?

ive heard as soon as they pop u dont need a dome.if i used the 400w how high above would be ok?so leaving them on window sill would be ok?

m8 dont be cheap like your being told use your mh and keep it 2 foot away ive tryed with cfl and mh n hps and trust me they grow like crazy under ur mh or hps compared to cfl but if ya live in a sunny ass place id go for the sun option

cud i use just a normal lamp from my bedroom table?
only if it is a CFL
a pair of CFLs on top of the plant will provide as much light as a MH 3 feet away. as a seedling it wont need much light so if you want to burn 400 watts,go for it
its another story when you get 2-3 real leaves and the plant can handle being closer to the light.

any1 else got help plz.just grown greenhouses church loved it great buzz great taste.wots there rhino like ive heard its hard 2 grow
