Seeds are not maturing? Stumped and need help

I have done this many times and never had a problem until i tried making seeds with female seeds c-99 strain. I have flipped a female then pollinated three other beauties. However after three weeks the seeds looked puny, almost a third or a quarter the size of a regular seed. Out of the hundreds of seeds from all three plants there were about ten that looked decent but when i opened up the seed all it had was a puny black spec the size of a single grain of sand, the same for the small other seeds. It is like the seed died before it even developed. Weirdest part about the whole thing was that the buds became huge and was very potent. The one thing different with this plant is that the stems seemed very thin and some needed support.

Here is my setup and etc;

500 watt metal halide
coco coir/perlite 80/20
distilled water 5.5-6 ph after nutes were added
Temps 78-85
Humidity-60-70%
Nutes= 50/50 FF grow big and Tiger bloom.
Additives=Calmag

the answer here light in your lights

as plants mature their needs differ greatly

relying on redder and redder light color for stem elongation even seed set

a 600w or 400w HPS will rock ur socks avoid any substitution

go red seek out them 2700 kelvins instead of that vegging lite you currently have

good luck

ps avoid picking seeds until you can clearly see the mature seed in her open pod

Vostok is a pretty good info source. I also question the age and viability of the pollen used.

I grow with a more blue than red ratio and never have a problem with seeds

Trying that next, hps during the flip. What about nutes?, do you think it should be different between a flower run and seed run?

Very much so

during veg growth the plant really needs a lot of (N)

and some chlorine to actually make mass, leaves and stems

later in flower with the actual growth done, the plant falls to seed set

needing much (P) and (K)

most rippo stores sell nutes in 2 bottles again 1x for veg the other bud

or if you wanna go organics nettles for veg and comfrey for bud

Thats it me quoting myself, but I'm sure the wording is wrong here, too late to correct

Understood, I often do a seed run, as yourself, as this is a non bud run,

just make seeds no special nutes or lights other then red /imo

and its the only time I go 12x12 thru the entire grow

good luck
