thanks guys

how far should i be keeping the lights at this stage

and when do you think I should put them into flower?

So next time Ill do water only, then the time after ill do nutes, but i think im cutting the nutes down to 400 ppm and working up from there, maybe with the stronger plants that reacted well i will keep them at 800 ppm

Nice my man. Those pots look much better and the plants seemed to be doing better as well. The soil looks better too. I'm sure you used new soil when you repotted. Nice recovery and good luck.

Its been a while so I forget when the first day of veg is considered to be so correct me if im wrong, but this seems to be around week 2 day 1

My apoligies for the long update time

Pics below

I fucked up with the advanced nutrients chart and fed 800 ppm, some handled it, others got burnt, none the less will be doing plain phd tap water for atleast the next week

Ive also included some pics of the basic setup i did, for the first time in my life, im runing 1200 watts of light and it might actually be TOO COLD in the room, which i guess isnt a hard thing to fix.. so im prettyhappy the way the room is setup, other than the fact that im running 2 inline fans that are heard throughout the house, may have to get a muffler soon, but im trying to schedule the lights so when guests are over, they happen to be off if anyone pops by unexpected, ill just turn the fans off for a few, shouldnt be a big deal

the plants on the left are the ones who stayed good with the 800 ppm, the ones on the right experienced some burn..

Thats a pretty nice grow room you got there. I wish had the space and cash to do it like that. Looks good.

If i didnt say before, out of this grow, while id like to get a good half pound, which i doubt id have trouble acheiving, my most important thing is quality, id rather yield 4 ozs of top quality than 16 ozs of decent bud, reason being, its all for me and i dont smoke a ton,, maybe a quater oz a week if that.. and on top of the smoking, its a cool hobby.. so in that ammt of time, i could do a new grow already.. i want top top top quality.. by quality i mean TASTE, LOOK, SMELL, THC.. Thc content doesnt even bother me, its more the quality of the smoke in all attributes.. if its 5% thc and its tasty as fuck, i wont mind smoking the whole joint vs the quater joint i usually smoke.. what the hells the difference? i can always grow more

On my next grow, im definatley going to research genetics and the most exotic of strains a little bit better.. but you grow and you learn, next time will be the highest quality there is, reguardless of yield.. I want to smoke it and be like WOW.. fuck the content of thc.. I want some connisseur level to be able to enjoy like a good cigar

I must say first and foremost, that the white widow has by far the most genetics and is the most stabilized, although i got a few slightly diff phenos out of it, they were all very close.. Also when I went to repot, the fucking roots were covered in the soil, i mean heavily, if i didnt repot when i did they might have went rootbound, which is something ive never seen in all my grows in that short period of time, all the other plants were barely able to come out of the pot, i had to yank em out and lose some roots in the process.. furthermore, theyve had nothing but great reaction to 800ppm of ferts, which for one week of growth is ridicolous, so they are my real hope for having serious quality and yield

as for the hash plant, its DECENT.. germination took the longest of all seeds, the phenos are all way different and a few didnt make it past germ, others are a little runted, over all its decent genetics and the roots were good, some got burned from the feeding, others slightly burned, other took it well.. however i probably wont grow this again

My biggest dissapointment of all is the soma somango, ive always been fascinated by soma strains, as they are intended for soil, and they are intended to be super high quality low yielders, which while id like some high yielders, im willing to go for low yield for some super high quality exotic strains.. Now because of that I cant say yet wheter or not they are going to acheive that high quality, but from the looks it seems like only 2 are real good phenos, the other 2 are runts and one died.. I plan on keeping em all runt or not, you never know what kind of bud they can put out, and even if the plant gives me 7 grams, if its 7 grams of the tastiest bud ever, im happy and ill savor it.. bottom line is, genetics are unstable and hopfully atleast one plant is as intended

keep in mind i havent grown for 3 years, so ive lost alot of basic knowledge, but its all coming back pretty quick, as i hit a problem, im like oh shit i remember that , but since most plants are doing great i feel like im on the right track, i dont wanna blame it all on the seeds is the bottom line, but you can tell who has bad genetics and who has good.. its just hoping within those not so great genetics, you get one or two plants as they were intended.

Ok i know im technically not even in veg yet, but this is how im keeping track

First four pics are freebies from attitude

In order, they are:

Kannabia BCN Diesel(seems to be doing pretty good)
Himalayan Blue Diesel (leaves are curling up,can anyone help me understand why??)
Super Kali Haze (seems to be doing the best out of the freebies, also an auto flower)
Short stuff onyx(looks like shit)

looks good to me. i usually let mine from seed get about 14 to 20 inches tall before flower. but this often includes some type of training.

thanks for checking it out

what about the few runted plants and the one himalaya blue diesel that has leaves curling?

do you think theyll even out?

one of the runts are an autoflower which usually suck, so maybe its just supposed to be that but the somangos im concerned about

at this point you can only watch and wait. do to them what you are doing to the rest and they should be ok.

IIm sorry for your disappointment in the somango.. it looks like it got burned?
did u administer nutrients?
I started my somango and so far, its been the best of my plants

really? maybe i just need to treat it a little lighter

not saying its gonna be horrible, just saying the genetics maybe arent all there in comparison to the others

do u have any pics?

yeah i just topped my somango yesterday cuz i read that its a really bushy plant so i was gunna top twice, seems to have responded pretty well

oh haha nice i got a place round here where i got my nutes at but the guys there are like crackheads so i hate goin there lol

but yea i think you may have done the same thing i did.. i tried giving them a very dilluted miracle grow solution when they were young like a week old and reallyyyy negatively effected the plants i think it killed 2 or 3 of my plants im pretty sure its just too early to give them ferts.
