For many years ago, at the end of 1990's (I think) when Arjan worked together with Shantibaba I really love Arjans and Shantis strains. But since the beginning of this century I only growing and flowering Shantis strains. Mostly Nevilles Haze, Super Silver Haze and Mango Haze. Three of my favorites. And belive it or not - I have still the same "mothers" as I had 2001.
I have a bunch of sativas and I hope I can get back to growing them out. Skunk/ Chocolope, Nepalese, Thai, Malawi, haze x Kali China, Dangerous Dog, Amnesia Haze from Soma, Spear which I love because it has the Shantibaba genetics in it. I missed out on the best ssh phenos that are out there but had some piney ones.

For some Sensi/Nevils Genetics?? 80s-90s genetics???

Ask Dave-ie AKBeanBrains, for a complete Seed List. www.dankortowne@gmail.com

Dave has these as an example.
NL5 x Haze
Black Domina-2-4 different mixes. All 100% Black Domina.
NL1
Williams Wonder
Chocolate Thai
90s Kali Mist
89NL
NL5
G13 x Hashplant

Lucky 13 Seeds, in Canada, has original Super Skunk aka Y2K. Its all 2000- and pre 2000 SS genetics.

They are also going to release a Worked 1985 Skunk 1 IBL, thats tested at an hinest 22%, but wont be released until sometime next year. It sells out, as soon as its released.

NWSun, has Crickets and Cicada Pacific Northwest Hashplant x Puck BC1-F2.

Puck, is a Pheno found in a pack of Nevils Hashplant, which went on to Sensi, and they called it Hashplant/still do.

But Nevil used the Pacific Northwest Hashplant x NL1, got a male, and backcrossed it, to the PNWHP mother, and was called-Hashplant.

6 years ago, Bob Hemphill-Hannaboldt-Crickets and Cicada began a quest to revive Nevils Hashplant. He-Bob already had the Original PNWHP, which I believe has been around since around 1982, and he also had Original NL1 Seeds, he got from Nevil, in 1985, and lastly, he has a Cut, of the Original Puck. Also known as Skelly Hashplant. The PNWHP, and Skelly, are probably the 2 most sought after, of all of the Hashplant cuts.
But Bob, recreated the original Hashplant line, with the caveat, he concentrated the Puck a bit into the genes, though, they did come from the same genetics. PNWHP x NL1 x NL1/PNWHP
Bob also released a strain, that was called Puck BC1-BC2-BC3. It is for now, up to F3.

But NWSun, on Strainly, has the PNWHP x Puck BC1 F2 for $45 usd a pack. I bought 2 packs, and asked if he gave any free seeds, could they be the same seeds, and he sent me a full pack. $30 seeds for $100. Shipping included.
I've read about Bob Hemphill's work. I love that he moved to Humboldt to compete against the best. Wish I had of been that smart.
I've already daydreamed of crossing the Skunk #1 to the Puck. Old school goodness.
Williams Wonder has my attention. I grew it from seed starting in 1987 so I would be very keen to see and smell it . I keep hearing of ...AKBeanBrains...I am surfing weed porn lately so I will look them up.
I did look him up. Impressive and I'm jonesing beans again when I can't even grow out what I have.
Williams Wonder of course. Chocolope makes me sad. The police took a large number of Chocolope F2's from me. My largest seed run. I won't buy F2's yet.

Sadly the consensus on akbb's williams wonder is that its bunk, many were disappointed with it. I think you're better tracking down Strayfox's S1's or crosses.

I lived in southern Oregon 5-6 yrs and what they had as Williams wonder in the Medford, grants pass area then is not in any seed form now, imho. I’ve tried em all, I gave up.

I've got it in the Firecracker still. It's in there somewhere lol. The Firecracker f1 's had the WW phylotaxy but not the terps. Looked similar. When I was going thru seeds last night I dropped two that I believe are Firecracker F2. That's on the top of my list. A bigger test run.
Funny thing though... I'm not looking for Williams Wonder in the Firecracker hybrid I made which is F2 now...I want to find the Willy D f2 pheno I had that was first rate. The dirty Afghani I put on it effed it up but now in f2 I might get lucky. Or I might find out it's not going to throw any phenos like that. Oh yeah...The FC
f1 was - Northern Lights/ Afghani x Firecracker Willy D f2's.

Wrong thread but I love showing y'all the old Skunk#1. IMG_20241129_055802.jpgIMG_20241129_055752.jpg I look forward to busting out the Firecracker and much more. Even though I lost some of my best stuff my knowledge is still growing and I have plenty to pull out of the hat. I only hope I can make a crew locally that and globally so that I can pass on good stuff I find. I gave clones to someone in 2022 who destroyed them when he was having some kind of problems. My Early Haze clone was pretty bad ass too with amazingly beautiful flowers and the Thai dominant pheno #91 was a champion big bush sativa. #91 was it's number in the sex tests and it stuck for obvious coincidental reasons.
Now we can sell clones. So times are changing.

Forgot to add Panama x Malawi. I need a country place again. I've got some Banghi Haze too so there's one I can do indoors. I gave out some Banghi Haze clones a couple years ago but never heard back anything so I don't even know how it did except for the giant bush I had was beautiful before the cops took it.

Sensi Seeds is right next door in Md. now. I wish they'd tell us what's in Sensi Skunk finally lol. Trade secret.
I was bummed to see Grow Generation leave RVA, but discovered a shop very close by called Grower's Paradise and they have a large genetic selection hanging. That's a bonus and maybe these people won't bring the bad vibes and venom like the rich noobs at the last shop.

I was giving the thing I call Spear more thorough testing outdoors in 2021 and got raided. So I don't know. But I had a bunch of it to smoke from an under the trees garden before and it had a strong and very clear up high with an afghan tail. So this is the twist....I took Mr.Nice Shark Shock and crossed it twice with Skunk#1. So I made skunk right? Nope. It doesn't look like skunk at all and it sucked in the skunk leaving nothing of it to be seen . So whatever is in it has some dominance. The terps under the trees were nothing special but I want to see it grown proper now to see what is really going on. The buzz of this was good for work and daytime. And it brought dirty gas when crossed to the NL/Afghani x Skunk#1. Which is CXS. I can't get to the 2021 CXS photos right now...but that shit had me excited. It is so sad the police took the clone. I should have insisted they let me keep it but they took my phone and would not let me call anyone to stop them.
The CXS is next on my list perhaps. It had a good stone and gas in the first test plants. I feel like this is a galaxy building kind of early cross. The CXS seeds are pretty old. Might be tough in a tent. There's not many now. Too bad the Chocolope Skunk cross to it got busted!! That would have been exciting to grow out.
I have the State of Virginia and probation to deal with still. If not I'd probly try to hook up with someone with a legal farm. Or somehow get it done. I want to be there though. We keep waiting for VA. to drop her knickers and let us grow, but so far it's a dud unless you have the local cops and politicians as friends and ride on a hemp license. I obviously cannot test my luck anymore. So the stuff sits in limbo until the dam breaks.

AK Bean Brains...is that Alaska? How is his Chocolope? I think DNA stopped selling regs because it's such a great breeder and they said so. I found a shop in Spain last night that has some nice genetic lines. Their Chocolope photo is bitchin'.
I had a purple Chocolope once that was one of the nicest things with a toffee aroma. I wonder what awaits in those beans I have?
Always been interested in Paisa seeds too. And Cannabiogen. For Christmas I ordered some Old Amnesia from Paisa which I've had my eye on for a long time. And some Super Tangilemon. I thought about Triangle Kush but my heart blasts with sativas.
Ace and all those folks got it figured out. Where did California go wrong? Lol. Too much bag appeal and not enough high.
The truth is that California left me behind somewhere in the past twenty years. There's a lot I've never experienced

Grew 6 packs of sensi at the commercial facility I work at recently. Jack, blue skunk, sweet cherry kush, critical Runtz, durban and I can’t remember the 6th… Anyway I’m of the opinion that they, like many other euro seed banks, have just crossed all their genetics to the Critical strain the Europeans were obsessed with last 15ish years. They all yield amazing and they all smell like critical and don’t test that great. Just my opinion. We did find a nice sweet cherry kush that smelled like cherry.

Yes I saw that cherry kush advertised and it looked nice. That's good Intel.

I have some Nirvana Northern Lights packs to grow out. I couldn't get an accurate view in my winter cold frame grow two years ago. If it is not the same I will definitely know.

I did go check out the Katsu stuff briefly. I saw the 1979 Florida skunk.
Okay, that is definitely not skunk#1. It doesn't even look like a sativa. Just another cultivar someone called skunk.
You can look at the bracting and it clearly looks like an indica plant. It just appeared in 1979? It looks like a nice strain but unless it came from Dave Watson I can't say that's skunk.

I really like Sensis Durban Poison. Its quite unique. Im thinking about getting some regs for breeding.
I've only smoked Durban. What I saw had good bag appeal. And I like a good up high. Along time ago on a different forum, Cannabisworld I think, someone said that Dutch Passions Durban was better than Sensi's. Anyone here tried growing them both?

No experience with durban poison from either DP or Sensi, but CSI uses the durban poison cut that's been whored out all over the west coast and readily available. I believe it is the same one agseeds uses too. In my experience CSI's durban poison s1 and crosses were all potent and very durban poison leaning. His strawberry cough x durban poison was incredible smoke, with loud sweet strawberry terps that came through big time in the smoke and stuck to your lips like strawberry jam. Plant grew like a mutant leafy stunted bush, but the smoke was legit af.
