I received my Short Rider seeds last Friday and put them straight into the seed starting mix. Two of them were up by Sunday morning and the other eight up by Monday. I have a slight problem with 3 of them and I am sorta confused because other strains I have grown have not had this problem. The round seedling leaves are stuck in this translucent skin that is tougher than any other I have seen before. The first true leaves are sticking out the side of the round seedling leaves and are dark green and healthy looking. I am afraid that if the skin doesn't break the plant will die very soon, but I am hoping that the growth of the true leaves will eventually break the skin. Anyone have any advice on how to break the skin myself without damaging the seedling? Has anybody experienced this problem them selves?
