Shakin the substrate

Yea,liquid culture is IMO best way to go,buy 1 spore syringe and ur set 4 a lifetime of mushies.I just use distilled water and honey,pressure cook,inject.Depending on size of container and food available,you could theoretically shut sporeworks down and sell your own for half what they sell for.Anyway,what is this talk of grain2grain,please elaborate?

basically once ya got a colonized substrate of grains,not a cake, ya take some of ya colonized grains and put it in a jar of uncolonized grains, and the colonized grain of mycelium grows in the new jar taking over that jar. basically u use a little of your mycelium to make unending mycelium, skippin all those steps of inocculation, making it faster and a less chance of contams...pretty awesome idea
