very nice grow man! Just read this...yes the whole thing, and just started a hempy with a clone a few weeks ago. Alot of playing around with it slowed it down, but was confused on how often to water. Got it now, and love the growth on these things! Im still in soil for the most part, but will be in all hempy soon. Good job! +rep

I have had 100% cloning success.:hump:I have 30 growing clones. I have 8 left that I haven't potted yet. I'm thinking of sticking them in soil.

My two biggest flowering girls were joined last week by three smaller siblings. They are all loving life in the new bloom room.

My clones are doing well as are the seedlings which are finally really starting to grow. I kept one mature plant in veg just for insurance!

I ended up putting my last 7 clones into 20 ounce cups that I have from my first hempy experiment. I am out of my favorite sour cream/cottage cheese containers. But at least I can put the clone box away for a while and clean up that area. I need another veg light.

lamest bump ever.

Whats the benefit in planting your seed in all perilite? Just curious!!!! lol
Well, the real question here is what's the benefit of planting your seed in dirt? Dirt's just so . . . . dirty. Perlite is light, clean, cheaper than top quality potting soil, it's reusable, prevents overwatering, makes your plants grow fast and strong and yield great big buds, doesn't harbor pests, doesn't build up harmful salts, chime in everyone if I missed something. . .Lots of people grow using soilless methods. Hempy buckets are just one of them. It's 'hydroponicky'. You can learn how here: https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/59705-hempy-collective.html

But I mostly don't plant seed in perlite, just clones (I know, I have some seedlings now).

No freaking BUGS!! aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hate gnats.

On the negative side, but it doesnt effect the plant is that the p'lite will grow a bit of algae on the top layer and it turns a bit green. Also if growing from seed, it seems to take weeks before the plant starts growing any noticable amounts. It takes a few weeks for the root system to reach the rez and get a firm enough hold to begin growth.

I third that motion, that hempy rocks more than soil.......yay no more mud in my grow room!!!

Here's how things stand.
The two big gals have been in flower for 45ish days. I'm really happy with the shaping I did; nice tall multiple colas. I wish I had lollipopped more. The three on the left are less shaped, but still topped and twisted.

whoops, wrong picture. these are the two big gals, anyway. More tomorrow.

I'm in. Yeah, I've been deeply high and marginally competent for the last week or so. Been taking leave from work and playing golf and getting baked.:hump: I'll get more pix up tonight. Those two girls really did turn out nicely. All the tops are growing at the same rate. I wish I had lollipopped them some more, but I don't want to mess with them now. I just gave them water with 1/4 tsp/gal of cha-ching. That little bit got my water to 199 ppm. I've also been using Barricade as my pH up. It's very effective and stable and promotes strong stems. They are drinking very fast now, about 2 gals each every 4 days. The clones are nearly ready for transplanting. Work, work work!

Gotta run. Lemme know about the perlite club.:peace:

Here's a shot of twelve clones just transferred into 5 gallon buckets. That's their proud mom on the left.

Here are 24 more clones. I'm not sure when I'm flowering them, but they will go into 5gals this weekend. (Home Depot is selling buckets for $2.74 right now. I'm cornering the market!)

Here's a peek in the bloom room. Cola formation is moving forward well. The little guys on the floor are just in there until they show sex. I had 6 seeds from a buddy; one turned out to be an autoflower, so it's in the bloom booth for good. I'm pretty sure one of the others is northern lights and I hope like hell it turns out female.

What it's all about!

nice job man.
What size do you go into before the 5 gallon, i go into red plastic cups straight from clone.
Trying to see how far i can go with the red cup now. Got a WW about 6-7 inches tall so far in the cup. Hoping i can stick with the cups all the way through flower. Any thoughts hempy man?
