I fed em again today, they were dry and are looking good. No real changes, except bud sites swelling. Very little height increase since I started and that's just fine with me.

Sorry, they aren't exactly bud porn yet, but I like to look at em.

the second picture shows some leaf issues that have been showing around the very bottom. I don't know what's causing it, and it isn't increasing or spreading, so. . . .Any comments on that are welcome.

I love looking at my roots. When I water, it dislodges the perlite, and I can see well into the root mass.

Do you pH adjust your solution before giving it to them ?

I had a problem from not adjusting the pH to 5.8

Are you using any subculture or hydro guard ?

If you feed every other time,
you do not need to adjust the pH of the "RO only" watering.

Just when you add nutes,
the pH needs to be adjusted.

I damaged my last grow from not managing pH correctly. I pH to 5.7-5.8 after mixing. I let it rest and check it again right before application. My runoff is almost the same.

I use Hygrozyme with every watering. I use cal-mag+ with every watering.

I just fed them yesterday with 3/4 strength Tiger Bloom and some Big Bloom. The PPM was 990. They are looking perky this morning.

I usually add 1/4 tsp Grow Big to my water to knock down the pH when I'm just watering. If you say I don't have to pH my RO water, that's great.

I would ph adjust anything you feed your plants with. Monitoring what goes in and what comes out is crucial to its health.

You are running a pretty "hot load"

I run 450 and 600 max.

RO only between feeding
I never pH adjust RO

When you add Ro,
it has no ions,
so it takes up the pH
of whatever you have added it to.

Be sure and let them get really dry between feeding.

I let mine get droopy.
Wilted.

It is hard to do at first,
but they recover in 2 or three hours.

Letting the media dry out completely
adds the oxygen those roots love.

The plant will take a big drink
when it is very thirsty.

Don't feed it too hot of a load when it is thirsty
or you might burn it.

Reducing your nute load will pay off.

I thought I was being conservative. I guess this will have been my max feed. They are moving out up top and showing lots of white everywhere. The foliage is very healthy

I'll wait until they get super light for the next watering, probably thursday or friday. It will be straight water.

I have to water my clones. The roots have reached the res in the 5 gallon buckets. They are growing. Unfortunately, one of them grew into a 26W CFL and burned a fan leaf. The growing tip is okay though. I was grooming some dead matter from the base of one and my hand came away fragrant. When I looked at the stalk, there were giant, withered mature calyxes on the stalk. These clones were taken almost 3 weeks into flowering and it looks like the flowers that were there when the cuttings were made actually matured during the revegging process. These clones are also super branchy although I never topped. I read a post recently stating that was likely with late flower stage clones. Lots of material for cuttings!

I'll see if I can get some decent pictures of what I'm talking about.

So here are some pix of my clone population.

The three big ones were from cuttings taken during flowering and had to reveg. The are very branchy and they all have swollen calyxes on the main stems. Has anyone else ever seen this? Probably no one would waste as much time as I have . The little guys are all rooted although I noticed while taking these shots that one has pistils showing. I hope it doesn't go through the whole tedious reveg process. I'm going to take cuttings from the big girls in a few weeks and maybe go for a small plant sog for my next op.


Or I could just flower these girls in March when the current crop is done.

It looks like the necrosis is from being too wet.

I trim the dead part with scissors.

They look nice and bushy.

I think they will do better
if you let them get dry every few days.

The necrotic leaves are the ones that came out when the revegging started. They came out with 5, then 3, then one big (giant) blade; I guess they were regressing to something like a seedling stage. They were deformed; kind of rumpled and pleated and the brown spots, which appeared before I started using cal-mag. Then they just looked shitty for weeks. New normal growth started the first week of December and has really picked up since then. They went into the 5 gallon buckets on New Year's Eve. I haven't watered them since. After the transplant the roots probably had to grow 3 or 4 inches to reach the new res, which I believe they have, since they have grown about 6 inches into my lights in the past week! Now the buckets are getting light, but I will wait for them to beg before I water again. the transplant was done with 1/4 strength grow nutes. They don't look like they need anything right now.

Much has changed since last weekend. Central colas are starting to get fat, the barest hint of trichomes are visible and over all they are doing well. You decide. Per Earl's suggestion, I let them dry out. Seven days lol. Watered them with straight RO on Friday. Disturbingly, the last few days before that watering, they have been yellowing and showing signs of Cal deficiency. I fed them very lightly today, just grow big and cal-mag, 450ppm, 5.6 pH. Lost about ten fan leaves to withering from cal def. Sorry I didn't take pics until they were back under the HPS, but you can see how they are!

Also, I decided to throw my three large clones into flower. I have 6 well-rooted little ones, one of which can be my next mom and these bushy plants should throw lots of bud. they are down in front as you can see!

I'm catching just a little whiff when I walk by my cellar door. It's fairly fragrant down there now, but nothing like it gonna be in another week or so.
