Should I Dump Her?

Hello RIU. I've had this girlfriend for 3 years now and things for the most part are good. But lately she's been acting really standoffish and bitchy, and I just don't know how much more I can handle. We've been through the ringer, we have. From infidelity to existential nonsense, we have encountered it all.

SO! What I am asking is this: I'm 21, and I love her. BUT! I don't know how much more I can handle of her being mean and not herself.

Sidenote: she says she's freaking out about what she is going to do with her life because she just graduated college, and now she has to actually pay her own rent and become an adult. But still should I be the brunt of all this stress when I have my own shit to deal with?

Thanks for reading, and I hope you guys can point me in the right direction or at least know where I'm coming from.:-?

I feel for her. Reality is tough. Paying bills and financial obligations are draining. I don't want to do it anymore. Suck being an adult. Young people have it made. Why did I have to get old??? BOOOOOOOO hoooo for me.

I guess alot depends on your communication.........can she talk to you about it....can you talk to her about it without fighting and try to find out what is the real root of the problem...............do you really love each other enough to be together for many years to come.....if you cant sit and talk then I say you should sit and talk to yourself and see if this is what you want........can you p0ut up with it..............love and relatioinships are hard........but like medi said.........reality has hit her and its a shock.......maybe you can help her in this area..........good lluck to you and hope for the best........I know this wasnt much help but maybe it might be a starting point..........Im am not one to talk about relatinships I have been married 3 times LOL.........

dump that bitch. do it nicely so you still get to hit it later.....

while i was in college i had a g/f too long and while she was a freak in bed, and had incredible fake boobies, we always had world war 3 whenever we'd go out n shit....she didn't smoke, and didn't approve of my raver lifestyle at the time.... it was kind of a volatile relationship, but she'd do things most girls would think is gross so i just sucked it up.....

i dumped her, then lived a nice single period from when i was 20-23.... best days of my life.... still had that freak as a fuck buddy, and i went out with a few girls on the side....

you'll eventually find somebody..... i did... pretty much settled down... been living with my present g/f for over 2 years and we have difficulties, but happy as can be.....

Pics or we can not give you an honest opinion.

I mean if you tell me if you were giving away a Chevette I might tell you to shove that piece of shit if its a rusty can of a car but if its a mint cherry Chevette then HELL ya I want that thing.

We can not give you an honest opinion if we don't have all the pieces of the puzzle, maybe get her on here too so she can tell her side. Maybe you the one being the ahole or causing all the issues..

shit.. this herb make you ramble.

Smoke her out and let her know all this extra stress is killing the relationship. I was with my ex for 5yrs. I tossed her like 3 yrs ago and guess what my ex is coming home. The grass always looks greener but rarely ever is.

imo, infidelity is a huge deal. that alone would have made me walk away. that being said, if things are this crappy now, walk away and cut your losses. once you get married/have kids etc, things are just going to get tougher.. if you think it is tough now, just wait... a relationship is enough work when you have 2 people giving 100%..

He didn't say who exactly was doing the infidelitating (not a word I know but it fits). That's the trouble with giving advice on the internet. You get one side of the story and you know damn good and well that he downplayed his own culpability for the state of his relationship.

It really boils down to if she is hot enough to live with the bullshit. Straight up if she is dynamite in the sack, ride it out while keeping your eyes open for the next broad in your life.
