so there is a local credit union near me that gives you $50 for free jsut for opening an account with them that you dont have to use or anything, and they have a deal where if you refer people you get $25 a person instantly when they sign up, so my idea was just getting a ton of ym friends to sign up for accounts and make a few hundred dollars without even leaving my house lol, anybody else come across something like this? cuz im really thinking about doing this lol

there is no such thing as free money. good luck though but if you look at the fine print it probably starts a limit on the amount of referrals.

there is a such thing as free money lol, when you find it on the ground, consider this easily made made, and i talk to the bank manager the other day and she told me there is no limits and to bring in as many people as id like.

If they aren't charging anything to have this account open I don't see one either. Do you have to keep a minimum amount in it? Some places charge a monthly fee if it isn't being used.

Trust me, there's a catch. They will never admit to it though. My wife works corporate at wells Fargo so we see it daily. Now the catch is probably small, like ha e to have the account for "x" number of days, limits on transactions per day ( charge you if you go over), or the simple fact that the hope you overdraft. There's always a catch with banking. Think about it, they don't offer product or even really a service anymore, but yet make millions a year.

people dont like to just switch their banks though, dont most people usually end up sticking with the banks their with... I wouldnt just change my account cus my friend asked me to so they can make $25. I think its a cool deal and I would want to do the same as you, just dont think many people will be up for seitching accounts.

You should do it but you aren't exploiting them... It is worth it to them to give you the money for the referrals, each party benefits and they do take into consideration people immediately closing their accounts.

well the only thing like that, that i have found out is that you have to keep $5 in the account if you want to keep it open, but ive been reading fine print all day and havent found anything yet.
