Alright room , just found this thread and thought I'd add my Lst aswell.I must say i never knew anything about it before coming on here, dont think I'd grow with out doing it now I've seen the light..

Pics above are from my current grow-Cheese/P-Diesel & Chronic are in these pics,all have been Lst'd some more than others.Im ready to switch 12/12 now.Pic with bud on is current tent grow cheese..

thanks man , my current rooms switch to, 12/12 tomorrow the pic in the tents is 4wks flowering and the previous grows ways finished in 11/12 wks cant remember exactly as took down different plants at diff times. Them 4 plants 20ltr dwc gave me 14.5 ozs and one of them got nute burn bad early on ,some of those were topped aswell tough,this time round theres been just lst. Im on the LST bandwagon now...

Awesome i currently have 4 Banana kush flowering and they are all lstd and topped. Was trying to figure out an estaminet of how much i was going to yield so that was a nice detail. Got a 1000 W. light running on them. Hoping to get a big harvest only flowering 4 plants and all.

How's everyone tonight? Don't know if you remember mcp, I posted about 20 pages ago. https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/289968-show-me-what-u-got.html Again, I had no access to my camera for a bit so haven't been able to keep up on her here but I have been popping in now and then.

To catch everyone up, Princess, who was dubbed by my wife, is my first successful grow and she was the last of 6 bagseed of which 2 others germinated first and they ended up being males. The others didn't make it (please give a moment of silence). She grew under 200 watts of CFL and in the end I figure I yielded about 1.5 to 2oz of fairly tight bud, and I might be a little conservative on that. I've smoked and given away about half now and it's OK but I did chop it early, so it turns out. Good cerebral rush, which is what I was going for, hence the little jump on the chop, but it's really short lived and I'm running back for more, but not in the way I want. When I decided, I based it on what I saw through my magnifying glass, which I thought was milky trichs. Well, after harvest I realized I had an old, German made, schoolroom microscope that I grabbed at a church sale for a buck, original pine case and all. You know the ones in primary school? Well I popped the dry bud under it an sure enough the trichs were crystal clear, but man was it pretty. So there's the lesson you keep being told about here on RIU. LOL. Sorry I have no picks of the dry bud for you guys but I'll get some tomorrow.

Anyway, part 2 of the story, and another lesson that is talked about all over here, deals with hurrying to find out if it's a girl and not taking a cut or two beforehand for backup. Anyway, I did grab 4 cuts but not till 3 weeks into flower. I've seen some posts about weather you can clone in flowering so I thought I'd post some pics here today showing how it's going for me so far. In the meantime I acquired 5 new seeds, from "a fellow", and he assures me that 2 are AK, and they've been in peat pellets for about 4 days now, aaaaand, the 600s on the way! Ordered it today and should be here in a couple of days. Here's the question I have about that though. I ordered a Super HPS bulb (8800 lumens) and a regular HPS (8000) for backup, but he was out of the Supers so he offered a dual arc for the same price as the Super and I said OK. I'm wondering what peoples thoughts are on these bulbs, and I love links if there's any. I'm kinda liking the idea of the broader spectrum but I don't know what to think of splitting up the wattage.





So thanks for letting me spill, love to hear back from ya's. Coming up, like I said, some pics of dry bud and a couple of gadgets I made up that I think you'll all like.

the revegger is looking good. i know a very experienced grower here in oregon that only takes cuttings in flower because he says they yield higher. and that is a ddecent harvest for 200 watt cfl. glad your getting a upgrade.
and ive never used the dual arch bulbs but i have read about them and yes it is good to have a broader spectrum but the lumans it puts out are much lower like a 600 watt dual arch puts out 68,000 and a hps puts out 95,000. that is according to HTGsupply.com

Well that's good to hear about reveggin flowered clones but I can't say it will be a fair comparison with putting this one under the hps but either way, I'm using the microscope this time before I chop this one. LOL on the white thing. It's the end of a white roll of duct tape that I mounted a small cpu fan in. I've moved it around different places in my box, sometimes to cool a bulb or whatever.

Ok, so here's the bud shot and one of my license plate lights. I made three sets of these to get beside and under the plant.

haha licences plates as a reflector good idea.
and the bud looks good as well, could use a lil manicuring though, those small leafs will make it a lil more harsh. and if you really want head highs then get a sativa strain, trichs wont matter in color for the highs. like lets say you have a heavy indica and chop it early for a head high well you wont get that much of a head high cuz indicas are good for body stones and narcotic high. i think it is best to pick when 50/50 abmer cloudy or more amber.

After learning to grow, and getting some expierence under my belt... I'm now growing for weight, and LST IS the way to go!

And last pix are of my Lacy Girl with just some MINOR LST, pulling the side branches out for better lighting, did not bend the main stalk at all, shes got an N def goin on for sure... That would be due to neglect from me spending time with my ex... She's outa the picture now, so my IMPORTANT girls are getting more of my attention!..

wow the last three pics look great, besides the N def, how much longer does she got. she is lookin real nice. and its been awhile since ive seen you on here.
and hope dropping the ball and chain was a good thing.

Thanks mcp, after I did them I thought that I should have bent them the other way so the light reflects off the reflective white like it was made to.
As far as the Sativa, that's the whole reason I'm starting this. I'm one of those children who started smoking before all these Indica dominant indoor grows started in the early eighties. I remember all the great Southern and Caribbean Sativas just full of seeds (get out the album cover) but always a great high that led to great times. I've always suspected that my highs have never been the same since those days and I just chalked it up to being chronic and old, but now I know, and here I come, but I want to get some freebie beans under my belt before I obtain any quality seeds, which is next on the list by the way. I'm looking for a good potent strain that's really good for indoor grows by lst'ing and/or cropping. Lower smell would be good. Considering a Haze of some sort. I'm not wanting to order from out of country and I'm leery about mail so I'm gonna take a drive into the big smoke and visit a couple of seed banks there. As far as the chopping for the head high, I think that's just what my head told me to get me to "chop that bitch". Any suggestions? I'm open to ideas. ive never really had a good sative besides lemon skunk, almost all the smoke here is all indicas and narcotic highs. most are medical patients around here and need pain meds. i would like to try a heavy sative some day.
and it seems most have good success with seeds banks and are cheaper then the one you posted. but i to am noid about ordering seeds. so i under stand.
and as for witch seeds you should get well, i havent really grown any of those, but since you want a sative high i would try to get a sativa dom strain. i have heard all good about the strain mazar.
the summer time budha looks good to sativa dom and likes to have more then 1 main cola.
or the WWx buhda

ive grown pure shishkaberry before and it was the best smoke ive had in taste, aroma and high. they dont have it but they do have shishkaberry x buddha i think that would be a good selection as well.

Hey Mcpurp, I remember you mentioning that you use DM reverse.I was wondering how late into flowering you use it? I'm two weeks in now and I ordered some over two weeks ago but never got it(never buy from north coast hydro, total scammers). So I'm wondering if its worth it to order elsewhere and get two day shipping or if that will be too late to use it?

Right on, thanks for your input. I know what you mean about the indica being more for meds, I'm going through a chemical therapy right now and it sure makes it so much more bearable. I don't know if I would be able to successfully complete it if it weren't for that. Aside from that, I really like the Indica for those late nights playing guitar or being creative, and ending the misery of a long day. But on those hot summer days going out, like to the beach or a concert, nothing beats a good energy high.

I know that the link I put up is a pricey place and I've seen others in town that are better, and yes I'm driving in to get them. It's been a while since I've been to the jungle so I think I'll make a day of it.

yes i have used it, and i used it three weeks into flower, i wouldnt use if over that. but you can still spray vegging plants to ensure no hermies or seeds. when i used i took my plants out of the grow room and placed them in front of a fan on low, then sprayed them all over i let them dry all the way in front of the fan before putting back in the grow room this way i knew the buds were dry and no mold would form. the DM reverse worked great for me it stopped seeds production and hermiing from continuing on my plants except a few that were way to hermied to even bother keeping.
to use the reverse though you also have to get the penetrator to mix it with for some reason. i dont see why they dont just make it ready to spray from 1 bottle but then again all nute companies are about money.
so ya if you get 2 day shipping it could still help, after i sprayed i did have a few small bananas form but i had no seeds at all so their was no pollination from it. its great stuff to have. when i start growing again will for sure use this and spray every plant before flower just to be safe
