Show Me What You Got LST?

I topped the one on the right and am LST also. I'm using pipe cleaners and they're working really good. First grow.

love that pic tutoorial hooked i like it seeing some before and afters so every one can see what it does and how it really works. plus rep if i can.

I just started a grow when I'll be making a side-by-side comparison of LST vs Topping. I'll be sure to post pics here as well as on my journal in case anyone wants to see the difference if they need help making a decision

i would like to see the results so if u like u can post the results in here to, but for it to be fair to compare they have to be same strain, same age, same light and water, nd stuff like that to be exactly sure on whats best. goodl uck with it.

What about both?

always a good idea, i usally top plants from seed then lst them, but from clones its just lst.

Here's a few more pics of the Kandy Kush. All of those side branches are now growing straight up. Should I start tying those down too?

if you want her short as possible through out the grow then yes tie them down, and when a few more inches grows back just tie again, till its i the shape u want,

Thanks bro, appreciate the positive feedback and I will continue to do the best I can to see this one through like I said before its been a year since the last female.

May have to put the comparison on hold for now, growing 2 different strains, 1 plant each. Though Skunk #1 and Sour Cream are both known to be lankier, they're still not at all the same. So I'll table the idea for grow #2

Cool, so I just tied 4 of the branches down. I'm not too crazy about using the twisty tie material, tho. Thanks, McPurple.

looks real good, she is gonna be a fat beast by the end, and i used those same ties before and they work but like you im not crazy about them, next time i will use some thing softer.

u can still do it to see what happins but it wont be an even comparison, but mabye you will like on better then the other so i say go for it still, but only if you want.

oh and for everyone who knows what MRS is and the people who talked about it with me i tried it on my tomatos, and the results were disapointing, the one plant i did it to grew very slowly, i had 4 plants and only did it to one. they were all about 12 inches when i planted and after a few weeks all of them were 3 ft tall except the one mrs plant so i pulled the branch out and no roots and after tat it took off again. now im not saying this doent work indoors where it would be easier to root it but i did it outdoors so that could gave been my prob to. also i now think it is not such a good idea to MRS a plant because the plant will focus all its energy into growin roots out of the branch instead of vegging normaly, thus meaning slower growth.

Never thought about it like that! I guess if you have the extra time to kill while your waiting for other plants to finish it might be something to try out. +rep if I can MC!

i think i still might try it on some indoor when the time comes just to be sure, but like i said it seems to slow growth and concentrate on the new roots growing.

i have a bunch of stuff and small experiments i want to do once i start my indoor again, but that will have to wait to october after harvest

I have some tomatoes going too and some strawberries. They are outside and a pain in the ass. lol It is just experimental because I am still pretty new to growing things but I love doing it. I am gonna start a nice garden in September in my backyard. I also have an easyryder about halfway done. She is bent over and reaching high and I will post some pics when she is about done.

i have to raised beds 4 ft x 10 ft i got corn, green beans, peas, lettuce, onions, radishes, cayannes, bell peppers, tomatoes, strawberries and a blueberry plant, also some water melon, cantaloupe, cucumber and lemon cucumber. this is my first real veggie garden and it is goin great so far and it is giving me alot of knowledge on plant life and gives me a chance to test some things for when i start to grow mj again. i like my veggies but i am really missing growing pot for myself

^^^^^ lol, 2nd pic she looks thirsty as fuck! First pic she looks HAPPY! Pretty lady!

i agree but it looks like the top layer of soil is moist, i think mabye it was watered during the heat of mid day witch make it wilt. but i could be wrong. and they do lok good besides that

Hey All, just came across this thread. Some very nice work from some of you. This is my first year to try some serious
