You have to think of it from other people's point of view. The majority of people who live outside of the whole cannabis culture only have the media to help them form their opinions on green, and so itd be a bit of a shock to find out that a guy sitting infront of you grows a plant with such negative connotations (in their mind). Just put it on the back burner, and slowly feel the relationship out. That's my advice anyway!
