...here is a link to a 5kg bale at Amazon for $16.55 and it's eligible for free shipping on orders over $25.00 so if you ordered 2 of them the shipping is free, that would give you more than enough coco for at least the rest of this year, if that is you mainly follow my lead, if you start filling 5 gallon buckets with coco you can go through it pretty quick.

COCOTEK 5KG BAIL

oh yeah, one 5kg bale is about the size of 2 boxes of cereal glued together, not exactly but sorta, anyway, one bale, once you add water, expands to fill a fairly large bin and that coco fills 8 of my 6liter hempys with enough left for maybe another run, so close to 2 cycles per bale and you want a second bin for the coco you take out of your pots after harvest so you can use it again, you can actually use the stuff 3 or 4 times once you learn how to work with it,

...and here is a link, also at Amazon and also eligible for free super saver shipping to a roll of plastic fencing that looks like one heck of a deal, it's a 4ft x 100ft roll so more than enough for your needs and it looks plenty sturdy enough for your needs as well and for only $31.91.

4-by-100-Foot Warning/Safety Barrier

so that would be 2 bales of coco and 1 roll of plastic delivered to your door for less than 70 bucks, not bad.

...you're gonna want a bag of grorocks or hydroton or lavarock or even 3/4 inch gravel for the bottoms of the buckets as well but you should find that locally because the shipping on something heavy like a bag a rocks will kill you, lol.

...oh, and i know that the local stores everywhere are seasonal, Lowes is Lowes, mostly, no matter where but it's still warm enough that you should find that fencing locally, heck, even in winter they usually just leave the shit outside in the same place anyway, ...grorocks you'll need to go to a groshop or some kind of specialty gardening center maybe, the gravel or lavarock you can get at Lowes.

Thanks for the links, since you mentioned putting rocks at the bottom of the pot, should I raise the drain hole for the hempy bucket? Them links you posted earlier are really good. I like them. I appreciate your help. I'm def going to try vertical. Not sure if its before I flower these or after because they are bagseeds. Right now I'm sexing them and they are maybe 6 inches tall so I still got some time left. What do you think? Just finish this in horiz or go vertical now? The wall of weed is fantastic... Is a light mover required? Or should I just keep the bulb in middle canopy?

Thanks for the advice. Bozo is convincing me to go vertical.. I'm seriously considering it. I mean, all I can do is try it and see if any problems occur

ROFL bozo... you get around!!! You keep pushing the vertical and I'll have start that winter project I was talking about. Maybe that will be my next over published pic post ;)

...lol, yeah, it does look that way i know and i admit i do strongly advocate for vertical as a style of growing but i don't like to think i'm being pushy.

...the truth is i advocate for vertical, for coco hempy's and for KISS style feeding, especially with newer people, because each provides an element of a growing style that is very easy to understand and setup AND maintain, plus it is very economical and EXTREMELY effective, in your own case you could probably cut your operation in half and still have overages to deal with, probably not as much overage but still, just one of your bloom lights would probably produce enough for your needs with this style of growing.

...i've grown in several styles over the years and i've learned a lot from each but it wasn't until i started the vertical coco hempys, KISS style, that i was able to relax and really enjoy my garden, ...and my yields are WAY better now, so twice the product for half the effort, that's the shit for me, lol.

Bozo I forgot to ask, are them black pots you using black trash cans from dollar store ?
...and yeah man, i just went to the dollar store and walked around until i found a container big enough to suit my needs for a hempy bucket and then for something it would fit into to catch runoff.

Alright ill have to take a look. I'm pretty strapped of cash right now, but ill figure it out like I always do. I took some notes from the threads you linked.. Ill put them here and if you got any other suggestions please add. I can't do it now, but when I get time I will. Again, thanks a lot for the advice. Ill most likely be setting up the tent in my basement if its tall enough. If it isn't ill rig it lol. I only paid 100 bucks for it. Then I can use it for starters, and then move them to the vert room. How long do you normally veg? Or what height do you start flowering? From floor to roof is 7 feet tall. Prolly taller

Bare bulb-fan blowing up on bulb
chicken wire cylinder to keep plants from touching bulb-still not sure about this, but I wrote it anyways
w.o.w-wall of weed
pipe cleaners to hold to w.o.w
closet to flower, tent to veg
paint closet flat white, staple plastic fencing to walls
8 plants in 2 gallon pots- how does that sound?
Coco hempy pots feed k.i.s.s style
bins from dollar store to catch run off.
4 most important things-
1-grow vertical
2-w.o.w style
3-hempy style
4- feed k.i.s.s style
bare 600w bulb 15 inches from plants -does that sound good?
Honeywell 18" fan- I got a wind machine from walmart ill prolly use, but I wrote this down anyways.
I read to veg under vertical, should I do that? Or can I veg with a t5?
For nutes, measure out 7 grams (1 tsp)
maxi bloom -k.i.s.s method
how to dissolve MB
-mason jar half full of hot water
-empty weighed/measured maxi into it
-shake for 5 mins, not hard though.
-pour into mixing bucket
-fill to 1 gallon.
-keep an eye on ph run off, I'm not sure optimal ph for coco?
coco feed every watering?
Last 4 days before 2 week flush use Kool bloom

how to make hempy bucket
- any bucket any color but clear
- size can very from 1 gallon(4lt) to 5 gallon (20lt)
-drill drain hole 2 inches from bottom about 7/16 size. (Since you mentioned putting hydro ton at the bottom should I raise to 3)?
-add medium and plant / water

Wall of weed info
-train stems apart
-do not pull through screen
-pipe cleaners to anchor to screen
- as growing keep anchoring
- cut skinny baby branches off little by little
-cluster of branches, the smallest ones get cut
-large fan leaves slowly removed as well.

That's all the notes I got. Anything else you want me to add I will. I think I got it all covered though.

And I measured floor to roof, its 7'9"

t5's make great side lighting, they have a wide coverage area and decent penetration. They come in 2' 3' and 4' lengths so you can get whatever size fits your space, longer bulbs are higher wattage.
Going to use my 4 2' T5 light as side lighting to supplement my LED light. Thanks for the idea
