signing up and which strain?

just wanted to clarify real quick. im planning on putting an order in through Nirvana but wanted to make sure i should just put a fake name in the sign up process. also what strain should i get? is an ak-48 going to be really tall? i like sativas better than indicas but want to keep the plants small. i was thinking northern lights if not ak-48. any advice is appreciated.
 
You aint kiddin, Dont go through Nirvana, If your gonna grow weed dont grow shitty weed. The germ. rate for Nirvana seeds cant be good. I ordered 30 seeds from them a few years ago 10 White Rhino, 20 ak48 and not one sprouted out of 30. And 0nce you spend the money your stuck.
 
when i was searching earlier most people said they just used their debit cards, would you advise against that?
 
With the way the U.S.A. is getting these days I wouldnt. That really is the only way to track your purchases even though a seed bank claim to have a secure transaction method, Do you really trust that good old uncle sam hasn't found a way around that. I have heard of suspected growers getting busted because the government was snoopin around there credit card statment. Dont put anything past our government. They will do anything for there stupid war on drugs. I might be paranoid but Im also not in jail.
 
Attitude is a good choice right now because they are doing everyone good. I've used nirvana quite a few times and have been pleased on all occasions. I havent heard good reviews about the AK48 other than it finishes in 48 days. Well, AK47 from serious seeds is DA BOMB and finishes in 56-63 days. Not much difference in time between the two and AK48 is nirvanas attempt to copy and make serious seeds AK47 better. Why? I have no idea other than to possibly make AK47 taste better.
Ask around for different breeders and strains and you will find most of them at attitude. Greenhouse seeds has some nice colored packs available and you can get them thru attitude. Ok I am rambling on....good luck :hump:

Dude...no worries. You got them and they are bad ass!!! Grow them out and enjoy :)

Nirvana has had a few probs here and there but so does everyone else. They are one of the top 5 seed banks.
 
Hi there, I've grown out nirvana's AK48 my last crop, and got 100% germ rate with 7 of the dankest crystal loaded female plants I've ever grown,sounds like i,v been very lucky.
 
just want to let everybody know that i put my first bean order in with attitude. ordered 10 ak48 like i said i was going to. i know its a very quick grow and maybe not the absolute best weed but it's a start and if all goes well then i'll plan on stepping it up to a better grow. wish me luck!
 
Yeah, personally I think too many people get carried away with genetics for someone's first grow or first few grows for that matter. If you buy something inexpensive you can just relax and grow your weed instead of stressing about having blown a lot of money on some primo seeds. Just my two cents worth.
 
yea thats the logic i used when deciding which strain to order. i know ak48 probably isnt a very popular strain but the great thing about this site and growing period is being able to grow what You want and not what everybody else is growing. surprisingly im not worried at all about putting my order in for beans. hopefully attitude will live up to its reputation.
 
I got Afghan and AK48 for my first seed order, germed 3 of each all of them cracked and are growing pretty good, I would say the AK48 is a short grower with good branching from what I've seen so far. I'm four weeks in and the Afghan and AK48 are both around 7 inches tall with one afghan only being about 5 inches tall. I'll be flowering in two more weeks and thats when the fun begins I can't wait, you can check out my journal if you like, the link is in my sig, I'll be updating it later today with new pics.

For the guy that got 30 seeds that wouldn't germ, either you got really unlucky or just can't germ seeds for shit, thats fuckin horrible, did you ask Nirvana about replacements? One guy on here got 10 seeds that wouldn't germ and they said that they had a problem with the grower that produced those and that they wouldn't be using him anymore and sent him a new pack of seeds from a different source.
 
For 1 thing I have been growing for over 20 years, For another thing I dont think luck has anything to do with it (the prices are so cheap for a reason) I think its pretty retarded to buy F2 hybrids(you would be better off growing the seed from your bag of swag) And for another thing if you really think that the weed from Nirvana can really compete with a real seed bank than I dont think you know what good weed really is.
 
can anyone suggest a good fem. indica from attitude? preferably dwarf? i was lookin at the hindu kush, but they don't have it fem. any suggestions?
