Re low stress training, its used to control the plants overall shape, the idea is to encourage all of the flowering tops to reach the same height to form an even canopy so that all of the buds get an equal amount of light as opposed to a single main cola. Its ideal for small cabinets and even better for CFL grows as you can keep most of the buds within 2 -3 " of the bulbs. My plant was topped once and LST'd and shes just 12" tall but bushy as you can see. Its a method well worth trying![]()
I am using a hempy set up. since it's not dirt will it support this method (less support at base when bending). Also have you ever done both dirt and hempy to see what would work better?

I have been trying to figure out how to start a thread. As soon as I do I will let you know. Thanks for the info and piont of view, I have not read any neg issues about using a hempy. I would like to read those if you can remember what threads they were.
