yea.. the trash bag isnt very professional at all... :lol: i know... my setup looked real real janktified before i moved it.... so the trashbag fit right in with mine... im trying to think of an easy fix to it that would look nice too... but i cant come up with anything yet... im not stoned enough to be a maguyver right now...

well let me know wut u figure out..i can run it as is ...it get the room where it needs to be..although a/c wouldnt have to run so constant if the passive air wuz cooler from where the ac is exhausting into ..the garage...im jst afraid the utilities are gonna start bein pricery w/ a/c full blast 12 hrs on... plus the heat and noise suck..but thats only till noon in the day...if u come up with another plan let me know..the intake may change temps too we'll see. dont know wut measures i could take to prevent mold and shit..but house is 2007 and crawl space has little vents in the slab..ive opened them as they vent the crawl space..and its summer now. well simpsonsampson Talks at u soon...

so when i went in this morning again i was plesantly surprised... the girls all took very well to their new feeding regime.. in fact they took very well.. all the plants showed about a 15% increase in size and girth... another bud grew into another light... all my lights are at least a 1/2 inch off the plants so they dont burn... gonna have to start supporting branches and colas too... the fat cola that is about as big as a febreeze can is gonna be leaning into the neighboring light soon... and ive try my best to show this, but i dunno if you been able to tell, but that cola drops down another 6-8 inches below the bottom of that febreeze can... but it plumped up enough that its leaning about 2 to 3 inches from where it was at lights out last night... damn this shit is awesome...

so now the bad news since i got ya all worked up for pics.. i have taken about 40 pics... but i dont have time right now to load them up.. have to go help out my pops for a bit... but i will try to have them up in about 3 or 4 hours.... some pics are taken from the same perspective each day so i will try to load some back to back so you can flip back and forth between yesterday and today... sorry i cant do it now...

but again... WOW.... im impressed :)

alright.. so i have the time to upload these pics now... the very first pic is from yesterday... the second one is the same 3 girls, from a VERY slightly different angle today... this is just to illustrate over night change.... the rest are just of them all... enjoy!!

oh and the plant in the 3rd pic was about 1/2 inch away from the light last night.. i had to raise the light this morning cause she grew into it... :)


and i remembered more stuff i wanted to say while i was uploading all those pics...

the last few pics are just to try to illustrate how ridiculously tall those girls are... the room is about 7 1/2ft tall.. the tallest girl is about 6' 5''... something like that...

the very last pic is of the girls on the first day of 12/12... they tallest plants, the ones with the burnt tops, were about 24''.... in this pic there was 31 plants.. i pulled 5 males and pulled an additional 5 that had weak growth and were just wasting nutes.... so i have 21 girls right now...

whats interesting is that the ones with the burnt tops are actually the tall ass girls in the back left corner of the room now... i figured the burning would stunt growth and flowering... doesnt seem to have affected things too much at all...

and whats further interesting is this... i decided to play around a little and FIM'd the tall girl, ill call her lucy, about a week into flowering... i assumed it would stunt/ slow lucy's growth and was hoping to give her 2 colas... what i ended up with is a 6ft monster bitch thats gonna give me a 2ft top bud when all is said and done!! any ideas as to why??

ok that was it.. now for the pics..

Is that two thousand dollars worth of satellite lighting? OMFG bro Looks like its getting some nice nugs out of it. You satisfied with flouro or wanting to go hid? Is the electrical consumption a $$ saver? Sorry for the ?'s I did a flouro setup spent $400 on a few nice CFLs and then went out and bought 600 watt HID for $300 bux and said good buy (not good bye) as Ill be throwing them in the mix soon. I think CFLs really get the resin to be stickicky. Right on to the grow man its about to start fillin out prolly good days to come.

yeah... its 2 g's in lights so far... i have about 5 grand total in that room... with nutes for my ebb and flow system and white poly and all the other shit... its worth it though...

im definatly getting some nice buds.. always do.. these lights work well... to answer your questions.. yes i am satisfied with these floros.. i highly recommend them... they do a awesome job as you can see and put off very little heat... great for closets or smaller spaces... now the original space i grew in had a 5x5 veg and a 5x5 flower room... i've over doubled my square footage... so when i can afford it im going to spend another 4 g's on equipment and have 4 - 1000w hps lights... ill still use the floros for veg, and i think i might even add 2 more of them, but for the kind of plants i want to grow i will need the power from the HPS lights...

now i was told that they are working on making satellite 8s that will put out 88000 lumens per ballast.. i would use them if they had those over the hps's.. but since they dont its hps's.. i mean really i know i am keeping up with smaller watt hps grows no prob... but these really wont compare to the hps when i get them..

but for the normal at home grower these work amazingly.. great lumen out put with very little heat out put... they still put out 420w's a piece so they dont save much on electrical.. but i only pay $0.04 per kw/hr for electric...

Sounds like we on the same boat bro, Like em just want the nugs of larger HPS lighting. A 88K would be amazing if it uses the 420w.

see heres the thing... hps lighting emit all its lumen from one source... and the more wattage going through one place the more energy it emits... thats why hps lighting is so good for flowering... it has the density to penetrate well....

now if they could make a floro like the satellites i have that was a 1000w ballast i would buy that instead of the hps's... but since they dont have anything like that, and obviously a 1000w hps light is more intense than a 420w floro, im going the hps route.. sucks tho... wish they did have a 1000w satellite..

so after 2 days on the koolbloom shit im going to break down and have to start tieing my girls up... i think ill any opinions between dental floss and fishing line?? i usually have used butchers twine but am out... either that or ill go buy some stakes and use little wire ties or twisty ties..

other than that really not much new... just one day closer to harvest...

And the KoolBloom...... I started using it about a week ago, the liquid. It has doubled the size of the buds already-they'd usually would only be at about 70% of the size they are now..... I will add the dry next week for a week, then flush for a week and really know the diff the KB makes.......

it is trippy... all three of us at the same point.. have almost all the same issues... its ransom as fuck.. but cool as shit too.. can see each others harvest... and all out next grows will be pretty close to the same thing to... pretty bad ass if you ask me...

thanks for the compliments on the buds.. a lot of people havent seen these floros so i try to get the word out to as much as i can..

they do help a lot on heat plus i have the benefit of the being so close to my plants... i would have a better crop if i had kept the canopy even.. but oh well... as i said a few times in here im sorta just wanting to get this one done and over so i can move on...

i love the koolbloom dry.. i have some koolbloom liquid i am going to use on my next harvest... im using some awesome blossom from technaflora's bc line of products.. seems to work well....

let me know how well the koolbloom dry does when used with the koolbloom liquid..
