i totally get what youre saying bro. glad someone agrees. I like all cannabis. and youre right there is some watering down with some polyhybrids. but im on a bit of a pheno / flavor hunt for extracts atm. I truly enjo oldschool OGs, kushs, haze, and the older more stable genetic strains. only reason i still make orders to UK and netherlands. but I am particularly picky about the hybrids I pick up. but this tangerine power was a freebie and just hadnt had any orange hinted tasting buds in a minute.
 
its about sorting out the good polys and leaving the shits one behind... so far these seedlings are beasts, my rare dankness freebies are shit so far. and im saddened because i has gth8,:cuss:and my kandy kush cut its own head of at about 3 inches tall lol i got what i paid for(nuthin)lol
 
not definitive yet , could be weird growth. but little thing starting to come out aside from the first female shoots. needless to say ive got the scissors ready to take that bitch down. atleast teres 15 in a pack i guess. not gonna lie a little pissed. i toppped and cloned my tang power with no herm issues so far

Ambient temperatures shouldn't matter if you have correct equipment.
If they do> There is upgrades to be done!

If you are having problems with your environment(grower error)> I wouldn't even post about a hermi.
 
with it not being definitive hermie on my end . im not sure, but i decided to flower it out and not keep as a mother. that was the only sign of a even " possible hermie" and it was not developed enough at all towards top to make the call. so i cut off that sex sign . seeing as the rest are female, and it had no other signs of male - like growth at all. very short and stout , and my other sinmint male showed before it. so idk . maybe the hormones on the female side will take over. had a hash plant that hermed . took off first ball and then from then on no problems was just lady parts the rest of the way. well see. a little anxious. and i medicate for anxiety , what a coinkydink. I honestly wouldve thought the femizied tangerine power would herm on me if anything. thats the one ive been looking out extra careful for ... grrr :shock: well see. ive been known to think too far ahead
 
Update: after sitting there thinking , I dont want to worry about it and with 13 seeds left i decided to follow my gut. MY only take on this is i think it is extrenely sensitive to stress. I did not see anything like herm until I took my 4 clones. so thats truly all i can think aside from the genetic factor. I know it ws finicky about how much nutrients it liked first month. Gonna start another. first stable female gets cloned. could be heat but i doubt it . only got to 80.2 at peak . gonna try again. waiting for GGG to release their cookies. RIP Sinmint cookie dude
 
I don't know about all of their strains but i do know Alien Nightmare quite well. I know she LOVES taking abuse whether it be in the form of super cropping, Major LST or cutting fans. The more you cut her up the more off shoots she gives. :) I am looking forward to grabbing more of thier gear to dive deeper into their genetics but until then I'll keep producing AN seeds. Sorry about you luck but the grow must go on. so to speak...

very true. ill try a few more. if i get more than half hermies and males Ill email scs , and if they cant take care of me I just wouldnt buy any of their gear again. I reall just want a stable cookie cross, preferably a less genetically molested one. Tangerine power is still great. In the meantime will pop some more sinmint, but now im really wanting to dive into my lemon OG project . I asked gage green about when OGKB cookies are coming out.
 
That sucks man. Out of all the ones they gave me for testing and the seeds we created off of those I still haven't gotten a male or hermie. Maybe try some AN? :) ;)

hmm well thats relieving then I suppose. First was a male. 2nd hermie. another poster got hermie but he thinks high heat which would be the #1 cause of hermie IME. Now if something happened thats one thing, but a tendency to herm would trouble me. gonna run some more of them. anywho, what is AN besides advanced nutrients as an acrnoym? with me . stability , for the most part is number 1 .
