Six plants in a 4 x 2 tent

I don't know if I can make this work all the way to harvest, but I'm going to try.

These are all autos in 3 gallon pots. Left to right, front to back: FastBuds Green Crack (19 days from sprout), FastBuds LSD-25 (32 days from sprout), FastBuds Jack Herer (29 days from sprout), MSNL Girl Scout Cookies (40 days from sprout), ILGM ZKittlez (40 days from sprout), ILGM Northern Lights (40 days from sprout). Light is HLG 260 at 100%, 24/0.

I learned a lot between the back row and the front row; note that the ones in the front don't look like crap. ;) I haven't done any training on any of them, partly because I didn't want them to get too large horizontally. Being my first grow, I'm not overly concerned with yield, just trying to learn.

If I have to, I'll break down and get another tent and light; I think I'm probably going to do that for the next grow anyway.

BTW, the pic isn't crooked... the light is tilted to try to accommodate the different plant heights.

Plants can only absorb so much light. After about 18hrs you're wasting light and slowing growth. They have to use up all that energy they store throughout the day when lights are off. I know they're autos but they're still plants. I think you will have better results and happier plants if you do 18/6

You have a filter and fan above the light?
Nope. I just open the vent at the bottom and leave the top partially open, and let the convection remove the heat. It doesn't seem to get too hot in there, as long as I don't close the top too much.

There's very little odor so far, and I'm not concerned about that anyway, so I don't think I need a filter. I have a tower fan blowing on them (on the left in the pic). Do you think I still need an exhaust fan?

I'm still on the fence about that... I've read a lot of conflicting opinions. The 3 plants that I didn't fuck up seem to be growing well, so I've been hesitant to change the light cycle. But I have been thinking about going to either 20/4 or 18/6 for my next grow to see if I notice a difference.
