slabhead's 09

Hey bongofblitzing:confused::confused::confused:, thanks but why the neg rep man? :spew:

Dammit I hate getting newbie rep. like that. :wall:
reputation_balance.gif
slabhead's 09 08-06-2009 02:32 PM That's the second time they say +rep say nice things and hit the wrong button. I don't guess it really matters anyway. Whatever! I really don't know what if anything bad rep means. So Thanks for NOTHING!!! Hahaha

Well anyho, all that aside, I took a few pics yesterday. Man that damn heat is back too. It's hitting upper 90's this week with heat indexes pushing 107 to 110. It's so hot and muggy that within an hour my clothes are dripping wet. My socks and underwear too by the end of watering. I looked really hard at laying down in the creek to cool off. About 3 to 4 hours is all I can do. Just getting too damn old. :o

Ya know, I look at some of the other journals and it just impresses me on their guerilla grows. That Northeastern I think it is, and of course Riz and others growing monster backyard patches like Hodge and fdd and mygirls. I admire the young guys trying so hard and of course us old farts still struggling by. Yada yada yeah.

So anyway, back to the pics....zzzzz.....

Maybe a little NIN ? huh?

CRANK IT UP!!!

This is when it starts getting fun!! They're looking great slab!!

On the rep, I don't think he gave you neg rep. He just doesn't have enough points to give you any. It looks blue, neg rep would be red.

Thanks cph for clearing that up. Now I feel so embarrassed. Yeah i didn't know what the diff color meant it just looked bad. LOL I'll prolly get lots of red now!! ouch hahaha

Yep, the girls are startin to get sexy now. I'm starting to smell them more too. MMMmmm mmmm, nothing like the sweet smell of sinsemilla.

What up Slab!!! Hey bro, those are some sweet shots for sure. Everything is lookin nice and healthy and green. I really love that shot of the sativa with the sky in the background. Classic profile, and such pretty, slender leaves. I don't know why, but I just love the look of a true sativa. And the high of course!! You gotta love the soaring high and elegant buds of the sativas. Sweet shit!!

And yeah, aging sucks don't it? I spent 6 hours last night doin some framing on a new grow space, and i'm fuckin all done in. Blisters on top of blisters, and goddamn my back hurts.

But hey, that's what we do, right?

And I just gotta say, for all the people you take inspiration from, you've got just as many takin inspiration from your grow, myself included. Hookin it up proper my friend!!!!

Keep up the good grow!!!!:peace:

Thanks jon, don't be jealous yours will get there. Patience is the hardest thing about growing. Besides losing a plant that is.

Has anyone ever tried these blooming nutes? HastaGro 6-12-6 from Medina Ag sold at Lowe's in gallon jug.

I just zone out to Alice in Chains. A big fat doobie and get righteous with the world.

One of their new songs.

A.I.C. is the shit Slab!! Really too bad dude couldn't kick his smack habit.

Right on! I'm not sure who the new lead singer is <yet>, but he must be channeling Staley. And with Cantrell harmonizing it's almost like the old stuff from Dirt, my all time favorite AIC album.

Well friends I almost had a damn heat stroke today while watering the hog patch. I was sweating so profusely I was drenched. Then I got nauseous and dizzy, and just about hurled my breakfast. I got way too hot and should have stopped but being the slabheaded old fart I am I kept working. Another 100 degree day forecast but this was early in the morning to noon, about 5 hrs. Weather.com is showing it's only 92 but feels like 102. Shit no wonder I got so hot, that damn humidity is nasty. Then there was the water moccasin I had to deal with. And one of the sativas turned out to be male, not the 8 footers though. Pics coming after I cool off and have some medicine.bongsmilie

I'm glad your OK!! We actually went over the 90deg mark for the first in over a month. We always have the RH way up, so I can feel for you!! Enjoy the meds!

Thanks bro. I'm feeling sooo much better now. Ahhhhh :bigjoint:

Forecasting some rain for later this week. I sure hope that's right. I need to spray again and will do so right after the rain.

Alright, let's see some pics

And finally here's the sativa male I chopped. A good 6 footer to go in the freezer for hash during trimming. It sucks that I spent all this time on him and then he betrays me like that.

Thx man. It's always nice to get compliments on your garden. Especially when you grow in isolation, showing no one but your cyber friends. A hard lesson learned decades ago. It ain't much but I'm proud of it.

Yeah dude those box turtles are everywhere. I usually just leave them alone and let them keep at the slugs and bugs. It's amazing all the different face colors and designs. Kinda like different people in a way. Ha, <just got a buzz so I'm kinda ramblin'> I'm pretty sure selling them is illegal. LOL wouldn't want to be doing anything like that. Hahaha

Oh chit!!! So I pulled my game cam down from another area and see there's been cows turned in. There goes the neighborhood... Oh well, that area had just not done well anyway. It was the late clones I'd put out during the earlier heat wave we had. I guess I'll probably just give up on those. Dammit...
