Hey jonboy, thanks for the visit. The Supercropping is a way of increasing the yield by strategically bending stressing or breaking the stem to cause the plant to divert energy to other growing shoots without losing the growing tip. If done right, LOL. Look at some of the pics and see how the side shoots and the nodes above the bend just explode in new growth. More growing tops more buds. Actually I'm all new to this I picked it up reading genfranco's and other threads about it. give it a try and see what it does.

No kidding riz, we sure needed the rain. My old back was about to need a rest...LOL I took some new pics of the supercropping so let's see how it looks. Cannabis is a truly amazing plant how it adapts. Like that slug wound of yours healing itself up.

Well I got out this morning and started spraying Bt for those damned caterpillers. I noticed a few fan leaves rolled up and some tops being munched on. I had just been smashing the ones I found but after the rain we had this past week it seems to have sent the bud worms into overdrive.

We don't see many of these. I believe it's a katydid. Yes I killed it.

Another peril of guerrilla growing are the ticks. I shudder to think what it would be like if I didn't spray myself with DEET before going out. While removing my camo I found three of the little bloodsuckers and this one imbedded in my neck. I must have not sprayed enough on me.

yeah c, most are 5 to 6 right now. It's sure hard to keep the bugs from carrying everything away in the great outdoors. And starting to see some early flowering but then I found a male today. WTF, I don't know how he slipped through the sexing. Funny he is more healthy than the male garden, but I've been treating him like a lady. Ha

Hey Slab. Thought Id stop by and see what you have cookin. I dont envy you totin those 5-gal buckets of water uphill. Your gardens look great. Try some city slicker seeds next year Im sure you will do great with them.

Gt, You know I'm gonna do that. I've been looking at the banks and thinking about making the plunge this time. Now that I've learned to clone and got a little light system to play with I've been trying to decide which strain(s) and which seedbank to use. I've always been partial to the purps but it seems the bubblegums and the blueberries have my interest of late. I just can't get over the price of those seeds though. Good Lord that's the business to be in...

Funny I was over looking at submachinegun's grow and got a big laugh. He had seen some weed growing in someone's yard and found out it was really Texas Star Hibiscus. It does look similar. Hey smg just where do you live??? Hahaha

And I gotta say, I had the same tick issue one time, except it was on my ex-brother-in-laws neck. We did a grow together one year, ended up puttin our stuff square in the middle of a shit load of poison oak. Made for tricky maintenance!! But yeah, we found one on his neck one day while we were out, and I'm like, "I'll just burn it off!!". I ended up just jabbin his neck with a lit cigarette!! Funniest shit ever!! He's jumpin around screamin and yellin with a nice fat blister on his neck! I almost pee'd myself laughin so hard! Hmmm....I wonder if he still has a scar. Hahahaha :twisted:

Yep, I sprayed with Safer mixed with Neem last week. I guess the two are compatible, I hope. I picked up some spinosad today and a gallon of molasses. I'm gonna rotate spraying the Bt and Spinosad. Don't want any tolerance built up on those bastards. I know they're gonna be bad with all the moths and butterflies. It's been one of those hot summers that is now steaming with humidity, uggggh. I just hope the cicadas don't like it. They're singing all evening and night almost deafening. The little showers we got seems to have awoken all the crawling flying munching critters.

lol... i have a funny visual...

the other day the fam just got back from the store from buying groceries... i was bringing the last load into the kitchen and i look outside to see 2 caterpillars flying around in my garden... they seem to be playing with each other in the air.. (like eagles matting...LOL)

So I dropped everything and start running out there.. .my kids freak out... my dogs freak out... and then i just go around chasing these damn things...leverybody starts laughing at me cause im going crazy about pretty white butterflies...LOL.. Got 1 ... the other i havent been able to get.... so know my son and myself are gonna get butterfly nets like spongebob and patrick..LOL... I havent seen the butterfly again and have killed 2 gray butterfly/moth looking deals...

you know what though... I have only been seeing the 1.... seems like not allot of those butterflies make it cause its always just 1 anymore.. So try to catch and kill them... lol..before they lay eggs..

It might have been Hodge's grow I'm thinkin of that plants decoys <flowers of some kind> around to attract them away from his mj. I've been thinking of persian whites....LOL
