Slow grower or not??

gday, this is my first ever grow and im not too serious but i still want this one plant to grow half decent so i can learn the ins nd outs. Ive got it in my cupboard and ive got 1 CFL 20W (100W equivalent) above it and then 2 low powerd 8W fluro tubes beside her to get to the lower leaves. The CFL is no closer than 4"s and the side one is a little closer but still not touching, and its a reall cold light. Ive got 2 computer fans blowing across her but only one is actually doing anything as shes up on a box atm so the lower fan is thea for wen shes taller and off the box. I think its got good temp and humidity, its pretty humid naturally where i live anyway. The only thing in the form of nutes is some SUPERthrive. only a few drops into my water and spray bottle.

Its been growing for agesss now, a good 10 weeks or more (cant remember exactly) and is only 4" tall. has a few nodes and sets of leaves but its pretty lanky and im not sure if this size is normal or not?.. ive got a few pics of it today but none of the cupboard yet. Any comments much appreciated. cheers.

Changed my light setup today, got 4 100W CFLs above her, and im gunna try 24 hour lighting. hopefully this gets it to veg up nicer. Any comments n questions?






Pretty crude i know but it seems to be working.

the more lights u added should help. ten weeks and that small is pretty crazy in my experience it should have streched out and got really tall and lanky. u want 4000 lumens per sq foot of light so read the box for thoughs cfls and do the math to see if u have enough. add all the lumens then devide by how many sq feet there is. i guess u can get away with 3000 lemuns but 4000 is better

oh and how many gallons is the pot? the plant could be really root bound that will stop growth also

yeh i dont have enough lumens per sq/ft then hah, ill make sum walls up to make the cupboard smaller. and i started growng it in a reall small pot to get it going, nd then i transplanted it into a bigger one, its only bout 2 gallons tho. Shes growing reall well now, seems to be loving the new lights, and the stems are thicking up reall good, even though itll never be as good as it couldve.

i have a few plants in flower right now now and its my first attempt with good seeds. im keeping my fingers crossed

yea my ww was the same size as your ten week old when at about a week, i had it under 2 100w but now there is two plants in there the growth has slowed but when i start flowering im using my 250w HID lamp with a reflector so should be awsome XD keep us posted on your growth dude, plant looks very healthy : )

updte on the grow, ive put it into 12/12 for just bout a week, did it now becuz i herd thy double or tripple in size in flower and ive got lmited hight for this grow. but lately the bigger leaves, the fans, are starting to get brown tips and droop downwrds, is this normal or is sumthng going wrong??





is this over nutes, water or heat stress? im not sure, ive left my cupbard door craked open a little while on 12 hour light incase its heat stress but hasnt made much effect.

it looks like magnesium deficiency to me it happend to my plants, i have a 3 part nute formula and all i did to fix was add just bloom to help and then icreased the regular dose

sweet just added some fresh nutes, similar kinda stuff. just had a look through to the other stalks and leaves, theas a decent amount of budding sites popping up, cant wait haha
