Let say you had a cut in your mouth from biteing your lip or somthing and you decide to smoke. Would there be a diffrent effect from the smoke also getting into your blood instead of just your lungs? Im asking this because I was reading about people wanting to inject thc throught needles but it being too hard, so i was wondering would smoke in a cut do anything?

I'm not a doctor but I got laid at a Holiday Inn express.

When you 'smoke' weed you get two primary methods of transport into your Cannabid receptors. The first one you experience is that of absorption though the walls of your mouth etc into your blood stream. As the smoke goes through your mouth down your esophagus and into your lungs. The next stop is into your lungs where it's directed to your blood stream.

The first part is relatively small, in fact you'll notice people who don't inhale, don't get high. The second is what gets us good and toasty.

Shooting up would just go direct to the blood stream. IMO if you feel a need to shoot weed you've officially had WAY too much to smoke.

If you had a cut in your mouth then you probably could have a slightly higher absorption during the inhale but I doubt it would make a significant difference in your high.

Stick with smoking or vapeing. There's really no need to get there any faster.

I'm absofuckinlutely fried right now... :D

The smoke needs a way to be absorbed into your blood stream, absorbed being the key word. Having an exposed wound and blowing smoke on it will not accomplish getting high, so don't plan on cutting your mouth or wrists and blowing some on them haha.

I would have to say that the open wound would have little or no effect upon your ability to get high.

As far as people trying to inject THC; those people need to be shot in the fucking head. I have never heard anything this fucking stupid, and it gives people who are seeking the legalization of cannabis a bad name. It is precisely that kind of behavior that screams drug addict, a fact which those who would seek to keep cannabis illegal would no doubt successfully use to their advantage.

:peace:

I would never recommend intentionally cutting yourself chasing a better high.

That said, if the roof your mouth has been recently burnt, say from hot pizza (this happened to me this evening), or you've recently eaten a food you're slightly allergic to (leaving the roof raw), you might notice an extra burning sensation when inhaling. I'm not sure if that would really allow rapid absorption, but I suppose it's possible.

At the very least, the smoke will definitely irritate the wound; you probably don't want that.
