Right boys and girls its my 1st grow, just experimenting and I really dont know what the hell Im doing... so all pointers welcome.

Its in a converted bedside table.
2 x 65w cfl's 6400k & 2200k
2 x 110mm pc fans for intake/exhaust
mylar lined

Bought some fem seeds from shortstuff and away I went.

I decided to use some miracle grow 6-5-5 (cause that was available)
And a bit of molasses (cause I heard that rocks)
Currently feeding half strength

Giving it 18/6 light cycle

Its now in its 3rd week & I think somethings gone wrong as the leaves look quite droopy, but theyre still quite green. Im no expert obviously but it does look a bit sad.

Think Im probably over watering so I've decided to tone that down a bit and see if she improves. In the mean time I've ordered a thermometer and soil moisture & pH kit too see whats up.

And thats it. Here's some pics & all advice and questions welcome!

Oh don't use miracle grow! Marijuana doesn't like it. Go to your local hydro store and get a grow and bloom fertilizer. Be sure and flush (feed only water) for the last two weeks. Also when you water just water it a little bit at a time every day as opposed to completely soaking the soil once a week. Marijuana likes it better when you just keep the soil around the roots moist. Also its better to feed like 1/4 or 1/2 strength nutes with every watering than full strength every 5 waterings, get the picture?

I'm feeling you. I'll stop skimping and go buy some proper nutes. So I should be watering every other day with just a little bit of water and nutes.

Thanks for the advice Griffin.

May I suggest Earth Juice? The Grow has an N-P-K ratio of 2-1-1 which is very mild so it wont burn your plants. It would good for your first time around.

First, you soil doesn't appear to have perlite to promote drainage and you foliage kinda shows your plants have been overwatered and soil is compacted...........transplant with perlite in mix.......let'em dry out between waterings....so they are forced to seek.....and for sure, when you water, water thoroughly till 20-25% runoff....DO NOT lightly water....it's the kiss of death.

Theres not much interest in this thread. Here's some more pics anyway now at day 37. Started another grow, now that I've become an expert obviously.
Also started feeding her Dutch pro bloom nutes @ full strength, which she seems to like.

The new grow is a slight step up from the last and I went for the following:

1x fem Onyx
1x fem Mi5 (both by shortstuff)

2x 105w & 1x 65w 6400k CFL's for Veg
1x 400w HPS for flowering
Hoping a good few 120mm pc fans will cool it though. What do you reckon?
Its a 3x3x4w cab...

Went for a 60/40 mix of Canna coco & clay pebbles.
Dutch Pro Grow A+B
Dutch Pro Bloom A+B
Blackstrap Mollasses for final 3 to 4 weeks
pH'd to around 6
(I will be feeding by hand for the time being)
Temperatures pretty stable at around 79

Germed & Planted straight into 9L pots, and were at day 5 (since they went into the coco).

Looks good is that is that flowering under the hps and what light cycle are you using?
Cheers, no its just under two 65w CFL's 2700k. I realise its not ideal, but its kind of a test run/1st grow so I went with the cheapest option.
As for the light cycle its 20/4 right now. She's taken quite a bit of abuse though seeing as we had a power out at the start of the grow, and a tad of overwatering!

You thinking of doing a similar grow?

Hey Sam looking good!
I like the compactness of the snowrider and your next two are coming up nice as well. I'll stick around!

And were back! Trichs were about 30% amber so decided to drown the plant for 2 days 1 light and 1 completely dark and then gave it the chop. Its been dried and cured for 3 weeks now! 25g dry. Im happy with that for my 1st plant...
