Ive been looking into the argument of dense vs. fluffy buds and most of it makes sense, but I thought it was a characteristic of sativa to be "whispier," fluffier, or less dense? This must be a myth since I saw so many people stand by the fact that fluffy buds are simply the result of poor growing....
I just know from my personal experience (which i will admit isn't a whole lot) that my white castle plant (a 50/50 hybrid) had much denser buds and a great bud to stem ratio (15 gram bud had .2/.3 grams of stem) as opposed to my buddha haze that i just recently harvested...which definitely has more stems and was much tougher to trim/harvest...
so i guess my final question is density a reflection of environmental control, a reflection of genetics, or a combination?
Any insight to this debate would be appreciated, although i doubt it is much of a debate since there is a science to this...
