No... 4-AcO is nearly the same thing as Psilocybin, it metabolizes into Psilocin. Its absorption rate is different because the chemical doesn't have a mushroom around it.No 4-AcO is not exactly like mushrooms at all. It is alot more gentle. It is deacetylated and as such has a different absorption rate as psilocin just as psilocin differs from psilocybin, not that psilacetin and psilocybin are identical either. It is more like a breakthrough DMT trip or so I have read. Which may or may not be what your looking for. But have a good time, in my experience 10-13 is a medium dose, 15 is common, 16-19 can get intense, and 20-25 is where stuff gets a little, well lets say religious.

yeah, your right, but different chemical compounds going through different routes of metabolism would include a potential for a time differential as well as the effects being slightly altered.
Have you ever taken pure psilocybin, if you have you would know it doesn't have identical effects as psilocin nor 4-AcO, and the change in effect is not merely placebo as it can be attributed to the necessary change in the chemical to become active as we know it. It is not a major difference in experience but it is noticable, as well I suspect that the 4-AcO is also active on the same receptors, possibly altering the effects away from psilocins effects.

I agree. There is a noticeable difference with 4-AcO and Shrooms. It is more pleasant, easy going, more agreeable than Shrooms.

Yeah, there's nobody here... would I have to worry about odors? Also, is the root bark easily pulverized without the aid of a coffee grinder/blender? I mean, is it possible to put it into a gallon ziploc bag and adequately break it up by beating the bag? I can't imagine the consistency of the actual bark until I have it in my hands... is it a powdery wood?

Yeah, I just got back from work but I saw some shit I wanna buy so I'm headed back to work but eventually I'll get around to getting that FE student drunk, hopefully he'll still be awake when I get back. I saw his lights were on when I walked by, but his door was shut. I didn't talk to him.
