so...

what is up RIU. I am 40 days into my first grow and my 3 plants are 15 inches high and are super healthy. I haven't had a single issue with deficiency or with anything else. So I guess all I am trying to say is Thank you RIU and Thank you to all the great growers on here giving good advice. and I guess don't listen to bmeat.

Good thread. I am new as well, and thank you to all. Wish we had more positive comments like this instead of the trolling trash I see on here daily.

Keeping it simple usually keeps them green and growing. My best advice to you then is always go big to grow big with lights and air handling equipment. Deal with the heat issues from higher output lights and enjoy the bud yield. Good luck. I'd give you +rep but they say I have given too much lately.

Yes I agree. For my first grow I went with CFL only because I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on something that I wouldn't pick up ya know. But now that I know what I am doing and I love growing I will be investing in some better lighting for my next grow. and I will also set aside some money for ventilation. thanks guys. happy growing.. P.S don't listen to bmeat?

WP_20130219_001.jpg This is 2 Ms. Universe from Sannie. they are 2 weeks from switch. both are female. Roughly 2 and 1/2 feet tall and doing really well. Not bad for an inadequate CFL grow.

I want to say thanks too. I went from outdoors to indoors and the learning curve was pretty steep, but thanks to good advice and some reassurance, I'm now within a week or three of my first indoor harvest. Here's the AK-47 at the beginning of its seventh week of flower,ak47wk7.jpgak47wk71.jpg and my Head Band Kush mid week 5 into flower.head bandwk5.jpgI have a two to three week harvest schedule going and the veg room looks great. Thanks for staying on this forum and checking in on us.
