hi, i'm new to the forum here and just looking for some feedback. I'm new to growing, but am a farmer by trade so am just wondering about my soil. i've read alot about super soil and soil mixes and nutes etc. i'm just wondering if there is anything i should add to my native soil for an outdoor grow? i was going to add a bale of pro mix hp with myco( for aeration) 20lbs of earthworm castings and another bag of perlite. mix it all up with my native soil and add it to my holes. i have fishbone meal and blood meal but are they neccessary? my soil is sandy loam/loam. i'm growing 5 plants in 1.5'x4' holes(i have an auger, so i want to force the roots deep as opposed to branching out as to have better access to available ground water and increase drought resistance.my logic is the auger with prob polish the sides of the hole a bit and the roots will hopefully head down through the 4' of looser, amended soil.) i've attached a couple soil samples. my main question i guess is does my native soil have adequate nutrients with just the pro mix hp,worm castings and perlite.
