Soil pot question

I found a 4 gal pot on Amazon that's very wide but pretty shallow. Wondering if it would be smart for a scrog grown in a 2x2x4 tent.

I would go with at least a 7 gallon.

Wouldn't that be huge for such a small tent and 1 plant?

I run four 7-10 gallons in my 4x4. Your 2x2 will fit one nicely. The only thing I'd be concerned about is height.

Go for it. Short wide pots will usually produce short wide plants. Perfect for a scrog grow.

I have 2 15 gal and 2 3 gal in my 2x2x4 tent. I could also of used 5 gal tall pots instead of the 3 gal, but only wanted 3 gal this time for those ones. If your in soil, the bigger the better.

Ya height would be the only concern with it only 4 feet tall, but I'm using t5 lights in there and I keep em 2 inches away, so I have lots of room.

Yea 7 or 10 gallons for 1 plant. The more soil the better. I run a 45 in my 4x4 (got tired of multi-pot grows and just put it all in 2 big pots perpetual.
