I'm not to the end of the thread yet but can't help commenting. I'm not participating in this challenge but want to do one in the future. I'm using a similar nutrient (Masterblend) and love how easy (and inexpensive) it is to get really nice plants with these dry salt based nutrients.

Grow on :) :bigjoint:
Oh yeah, I love the dry salts+coco! Masterblend works great too, I know quite a few folks here who use it.

Week 5 today ....had a few leaves go yellow, trimed some larf off the bottoms.

The tall one grew about 3 inches in just a few hours, the leaves went right into the CFL bulb, burnt them a bit but not too bad.

Week 6 today and I think i know why she got so battered. Manganese def. I’ve had it before, my water has a bad ratio of Iron to manganese leading to deficiencies in some plants not all. That’s the strange thing. Got plants without a blemish and ones looking haggard.

Started to add 1g of manganese sulphate once a week. Used it on my last run and had no Manganese deficiencies. Thought I could get away with it but nah :(

Other cup is not in the competition. I was gonna transplant but ran out of space in my tent (space u can see is taken up by the orange biscuits which is out of the tent)

All the best guys :)
