Curious to see how many people are choosing co2 over hydrocarbons? If so why? Just a residual ppm thing? getting better labs?

What process do you utilize? Solvent ect? I usually make an initial N-butane extraction. After the residual butane is removed under vacuum, I follow up with a standard "winterization" using 100% organic ethanol recovered through a buchner funnel w/vacuum assist. Then I repeat the "winterization" process (probably not necessary to do 2×). That's just me. I'd say 95% of fats/waxes/lipids are removed in a single "winterization" done properly. The second is probably overkill, unless making for use in a vape pen.20180929_125012.jpg This is gorilla glue #1. Using this process. Delicious!

For the initial run, a hydro carbon blend. A tri blend works best, but you’ll usually need to mix these yourself.

Do you live in Maine? I’m always down to sesh
Dammit, my wife was driving last week on camping trip to Downeast, Baxter and Bigelow.
She drove right by your place in Solon I think, pointing and laughing..."look, another one", and would't turn around.

I wanted a nice blunt for the fire that night, all I had was sub par home brew oil, and see what I missed when she flew by your shop.
Awesome looking oil, I'm driving that stretch next time.

I am just doing extractions into VG lately, it is clean, doesn't rip the molecules apart like other alcohols, even though VG is technically a type of alcohol.
I like it as it tastes nice, can be used as edible, vaped if filtered enough, and can be applied topically as an ointment, plus it is pretty cheap. Not as cheap as over there where you guys can order it by the gallon off Amazon, but muuuuuuch cheaper than alcohol.
