ok so i reinforced the strip down with more tape in the mean time with more of the reflective tape.
so this is what the girl looks like now after i cut the rest of all that scorched matter. the main cola was hit the hardest so i just tied it down and hope the other mini colas will get bigger.
up above is the front view, below is the back of the plant.

I'm with richinweed, you can't just tape it up because it'll probably happen again. I am using eye-screws or whatever they're called, a screw with a ring on the end so I can run cord through it. I was using this hefty looking string, until I realized a problem when the hanging lamps are intentionally pulled off-center (so they can be raised up and down at a different center-point) where a string would break if I pulled up (trigonometry).. Or would have such a high tension that it might break while I was away.. So I replaced all the string with 550-lb paracord. Now, I just have to keep an eye on tension, else it would pull the eye-screws out.

i just used tape for now untill i get to homie depo and get something more permanent to replace it.

good news the plant look alot better. There's new growth all up and down the main cola that got scorched ill be shore to put up a new pic later when the box turns on.

I know, i know thanks massa. like i said its just a temp fix until i get my lazy ass up to the store to get something more appropriate.tape will be your downfall again...*snicker*

im gonna use some long penny nails to hold it up there. ill knock 8 of em in there and bend them inwards over the fixture

Ok so ive tied down some wires to the lights so they wont fall off, also i put the flowering lights in and put the lights to 12/12.

i had it happen to me. theyll be alright.
i also had a main cola that i had tied back and down slip loose of the hold and sat on the bulb for who knows how long and was scorched bad but when i rectified the problem, she bounced back with a huge amount of vigor. these plants are tough and can take some serious punishment.

thanks thats nice to see. the main head on 1 plant i had to basically strip and its got all sorts of new weird growth coming out. all in all theyre healing up fast.i had it happen to me. theyll be alright.
