are you ph'ing your water?
your going to want to pick up some general plant food or go to a hydro store and id suggest a simple one part nutrient like floranova it has all the essential micro nutrients needed. but if you start mixing nutrients you going to need to ph for sure
oh ok. yeah just use the gh 3 part at like 1/4th strength and your girls should be fine and start to take off a little bit.Yeah I PH my water, my babies only get bottled water...for now.. lol and I'm on a 3part right now.. But I only did it once, then someone told me not too. But the directions say to start when its a seedling, so im confused.
I'm not framiliar with airpots. Got a link?
Yeah more oxygen around the root system is better for a lot of plants. Except a few that like wet feet.
That's why aeroponics is great for growing weed.
So I can start them on it now?oh ok. yeah just use the gh 3 part at like 1/4th strength and your girls should be fine and start to take off a little bit.
so i can start them on it now?
no doubt .
i never did i side by side with my 5gal smartpots but i really just like them because there great for holding coco for less messy tray haha. i just like to use them also to know i shouldent ever have rootbound problems.I use seven gallon smart pots and i noticed zero difference between them and my plastic four gallon pots....
Im gonna chalk this up to poor ph or slow genetics ...when using bottled water, the ph is different between brands and even age etc ...i used to use it also and noticed sometimes it was coming in at 7.5 and higher ph. Also, the ph will fluctuate due to temp changes and sitting in the soil, check your soil ph also...
incorrect. but i appreciate your opinion.
edit..i didn't mean to sound condecending..i understand the whole pheno thing. but that wouldn't be enough to explain a 100% dif in growth. And i have other RRF's that are in 2qt pots that are all the same. this was just a study of how more roots equals more top growth.
jump in bro!!! its great just remeber to train yourself to 5.8 ph and mix in lots of perlite!!ahhh coco..another thing on my to do list. I'm frankly afraid to take that plunge. I'm really only comfortable in soil.
