I think i'm going to get some azamax when i get paid. been seeing some infected leaves pop up here and there, so i'm sure i'm going to have some bugs hatching or whatever they do lol. nothing in the traps yet, but they're all set up. but yeah, even if i don't use it this grow, i want to have some just in case so i don't have to jump through my ass to get rid of a pest problem.

They finally stopped stretching these sativas sure do take a long time to mature and grow like crazy when put into flower. just shy of 3x height of when they were flipped.

did some trimming today and took one of my girls out in some real light for a photo shoot. i did not top that one, btw. she just decided to shoot up two main colas and i love it. unfortunately, looks like she got some light bleaching. those hoods are tricky because you can get them soooo close to the canopy without burning them. moved her a few inches away. i notice the growth on that cola is stunted. hopefully it doesn't affect the overall too much.

that bike is a full size MX just to put her in perspective

when comparing to other grows, it seems my buds are developing much more slowly. not sure if it's the strain and they're waiting to blow up? or too much nitrogen guano in my fert? what do you guys think? i was worried for a few days, but i do see improvement, so i'm not stressin really.

Super sativa looking plants. I don't think it's too much N as they aren't super leafy but I could be wrong. I'm guessing it's just a longer flowering strain which means the main bulk up and swell comes a bit later. Looks nice and healthy!

I also just had to raise my lights - pretty much zero heat below my hood but if a cola gets too close the amount of irradiation just bleaches the fuck out of it and production decreases.

Yeah, these are Sour Diesel? I didn't realize Sour D was a big ol' Sativa like that. I would bend her down and try to get some kind of even tops. That 400w light isn't going to effectively light that far. I can't stop staring at how much that stretched out. When did it stop stretching? Has it stopped stretching?

The plants usually stretch for about 1/3 of their total flower time. So if it stretched for 4 weeks you'll be looking at about 12-13 weeks. Of course that's an average, could take longer, doubtful it'll be shorter.

Totally agree with Laserbrn. Suppercropping em at this point might not be a bad idea to level your canopy - or maybe some simple LST if they are still flexible.

sounds good! i think i'm going to try some light LST since it's so far in. i'm actually excited now that it is probably a heavy sativa pheno. i've got no problem sittin back a few more weeks for a dank high! i'll get something going and post pics. thanks much for the input.

Oh yeah, definitely a Sativa Dom strain there. Supercropping is a good idea and it works pretty well. Any losses you get would be outweighed by the gains from keeping the canopy as even as possible. Those lower buds look like they'll be 36" or more from the light! Overall though, great looking first grow. Plants look nice and green and happy. Your buds only look so small compared to others because your flowering time is going to be much longer. So you need to compare to people who are week or two behind yours and at this stage even that is difficult.

right on. i'll give one of 'em a super crop just to do it and get the experience. totally makes sense when i think about it. loss up top will be made up for with the increased light exposure on bottom. today was the first day at 25 in flower they didn't increase in height, btw. 45" for the tallest, 16" when flipped.

gettin some babies ready to throw into flower too btw. i would say with my experience so far, sour diesels respond better to fimming than topping, however, it seems like LST has had the best results. but then again, this first yield will definitely weigh my final opinion. and almost forgot, the super crop didn't seem to work out as well as it started to. the girls are healing themselves to stand back upright.

other than that, some frosty buds poppin out for sure! need to put a better camera to use.

Looking good! Might want to throw a humidity dome over the cuttings. They are starting to sugar up for you

oh man, i am sooo happy to see those trichs coming in! the buds swelling up are nice and covered so i def have faith in my soil/teas/amendments. going to use a better camera next week. working on gettin a humidity dome put together for the clones with something around the house i'm going to have to buy a sack today. cannot wait to take a rip off my own shit!!!!

thank you much! definitely faster and more efficient than seed. i got lucky with the cuts. no idea who or where they came from, just picked 'em up at a local dispensary because they were always professional, all the nug i got from there was prime, and the cuttings looked so healthy with nice roots. unfortunately that clinic was shut down about a month ago, so that's pretty disappointing. haha i can't bitch to you though in a non medi state.

lots of swelling in week 7 . Everything looks good for the most part. I now know that no less than 12" from light at all times. the tall girl that got bleached is very apparent now. doesn't seem to be affecting the buds though, but who knows. not too worried about it. 3 more weeks! lol the 1/8 container is for you Laser. i used the gf's camera but doesn't take any better than my phone. think it's time for a new one.
