Yup. just as I thought. He wont say anything about using the NYCSD, but he did. That thread is from 2010 when he reworked the line. His 2006, I remember, was a cross of the ECSD clone and the NYCD, then back to the ECSD clone, several times. I also remember the Strawberry Diesel from 2006, some of the best I've ever grown

His IBL is good stuff, I have recent seeds from lassed.co , both strawberry and regular. Greenthumb S1s his old school ECSD clone.

You should listen to jj on the potcast as he delves into this topic and says rez used either afghan kush or Hindu kush for his sour d ibl and jj used the other one to make top Dawgs ibl. Pretty sure he also talks about how soma made a strain and just named it nysd just cause of the hype diesel had and I think they all think he's a clown for doing it.
I also remember it mentioned at icmag that rez used one of those kushes to make his ibl.

But hey if seedfinder says he used something with no diesel in it sure believe seedfinder. I'll believe jj and also what I remember back when I bought chem sour diesel.

Guess we will agree to disagree.
But I suggest listening to that podcast it will shed some light on this topic for you.

Not sure if rez gear would pop... they are getting pretty old.
Dr.Greenthumbs ecsd s1 was nice had a few shitty ones but also a really nice one

This guy sells Rez's seeds, new stock. The boxes and designs are real nice, haven't gotten to growing them but i purchased the IBL and Strawberry. He also has the SSSDH and Blueberry Diesel... they sent me a free pack of cherry diesel.... prices are high, to be expected... i have had nobody ship faster.in well over 100 transactions and about 60+ seed banks/breeders, including strainly vendors. He must overnight them.

Love rez genetics but can't bring myself to support a rat.
You know rez ratted out a bunch of people to help reduce his sentence right?
You wanna support someone who does that.....‍:confused:

Rez used hindu jj used afghani 1 for his work as he felt the hindu took away from the chem side more than the afghani so he went with that and as others have stated already if rez is selling seeds again dont buy em dont feed the rats

Well i hope karma catches up with him his genetics were ok lots of bs in them too and alot of the work wasnt done by him tho and ive also heard horror stories of how the guy breeds and how he is to work with true from true canna genetics had the displeasure of working with the guy in the past for a bit he has spoke of it on the potcast and his own podcast a bit already plus the guys a known rat to boot

I also heard he was a rat, back at ICMAG with some of those people. I really have no idea what's true and what's false about him. I just know his Strawberry Diesel is one of the best plants I've grown.... and I'm going to grow it again..

As karma g said it himself on the potcast ep he was on he got lucky most found a shit ton of herms in that sd they claimed was ibl and it wasnt and yeah its true from all i can tell the guys a rat and i wouldnt care if the guy had the best weed on the planet i morally couldnt support the dude i aint saying u cant find good stuff in his gear its the rat issue for me that seals it plus in my opinion if you run enough numbers of anything you are gonna find some good stuff anyway

mate we dissing karma here lol? I’ve known them to be a top breeder with some amazing collab with big underground guys. His podcasts seem golden and sound a top notch guy I could be wrong ofc I’m just a lil dude tryna hunt this sea of breeders to find the “one” haha but karmas lines use bx to landrace and alot are quite close to the start of the trees not 50chucks down the line ? So I saw them as quite good haha after just spending £150 at his bank I feel a lil thrown off now ..haha

Karma is a good one. Rez signed papers agreeing to cooperate with the authorities = snitch rat punk. Not rumors. His actual paperwork has been shared publicly multiple times.

Are you sure your talking about New York City Diesel, or East Coast Sour Diesel? Because i gotta be honest,i've tried both and plenty of other Sours and im going to be as honest as possible. There is not one strain that has ever hit me and launched me off to space like the East Coast Sour Diesel. For me ECSD is the king of kings in the diesel game. NYC diesel isnt even a diesel.

its kind of Funny, Dr Greenthumb has been claimed by many to hold the real ECSD, yet not many have claimed the same thing about JJ. I personally dont know either, but to be honest, iv been looking through plenty of forums and from what i see I personally believe Dr greenthumb has the closest thing that we can find of the real ECSD or what ever remains of it. But then again, what would a random nobody like me know about the Sours game.

i finally retired my real or "original" ecsd. it wasnt what it used to be. the last ecsd;s i ran from shoreline were a lot nicer.

Yes I've had them both at the early dates when they arrived on scene. Whether something is "diesel" is irrelevant as nothing is actually diesel, it's just a description! A great cut of a great strain will create those fond memories The look and power of the original NYC was incredible. Sour D is terrific, but is common and everywhere nowadays. A good NYC diesel I havent seen in 10 years ar least.
