Interesting, i too have tried a few nyc diesels, some of them were great, but for me the ECSD really stood out to me. But i appreciate your input. Everyone has different experiences and every strain effects people differently. You do have a point as well about the name of diesels as well.

Those of us who like the diesels typically like strong buzzes, those sativa highs and sour D of any form does that so well. Today everything has a thc% next to it and that to me tells the story...what markets well is what sells, not what really is good. Also they change strains every month which also takes away from the idea that a great strain lasts. Marketing has killed the good strains

from my experience Nobody was ever looking for soma diesel. When you say "NYC diesel" are you referring to the diesel that was in NYC?

i bet probably not cos when folk say that they usually mean somas diesel in my experience vs talking about day wrecker/original diesel i find somas weak and like deep chunk its very dominant in crosses too unlike deep chunk its not as potent the best chems/diesel's are the real ones
