Spider mites, please help, harvest now?

found branches covered in white spots/webs little bastards under 30x crawling around on my girl, day 45 of flower

you should kill them first before you cut them down because thay will still eat at your bud

thanks guys, i'm freakin out, lookin at them with my microscope getting angry/upset, i feel like I have bugs on me

45 days flowre, I have to cut them down in 2 weeks... i'm going away

Wash,wipe and clean all of those leaves every day for a week with a mild dish soap and water solution.
Couple of drops dish soap per pint of water.
Make sure you have a good fan on your weed and raise the humidity slightly.
Mites breed less in high humidity situations,you can keep mites away with high humidity during veg,but this can cause weak or mouldy buds if you do it whilst flowering so make sure you have a good fan blowing on them:blsmoke:

carnt you dip the hole plant in some mixture that takes all the bugs/eggs of and kills them. i would ring or go to hydro shop, and ask if they recomend anythink that may help your problem. fdd, is having the same problem, may fdd, cud help.

if your worrying ant havent got/done anything yet. id get some cotton buds and insect killer, for plants add to water and clean all the leafs were you can, and id cut the really infected parts. you dont have to chop the whole leaf if only a bit is bad, just try to trimm the worst parts, if poss. and if i had nothing, id use dish soapy water and like dab it on the bad parts. the soap dries em up. i use this method, on my lupins/clemetis and budlia in the garden this summer and it works. try it . it better than doing nothing, and worrying and it getting worse.

Thanks guys, I wiped down the bad leaves last night with a sponge, didn't remove them ... so I squished most of the cunts and went to bed.

I just bought a bottle of "dead red" from hydro shop, spray once only. It leaves a fillm on leaves and flowers for 7 days, it prevents the mites little sucker/feeder thing from being able to penetrate leaf/bud and they die within a few hours from starvation, incase any bastards are hiding somewhere the residue stays for 7 days. Apparantly a once application only.

I'd cut that leaf and it toss out,like a wk ago!...and any others like it!
The best u can do is keep'em at bay.
like someone already posted, wash every day
and keep an eye out and you have a fighting chance.
Next time if you see any signs of mites act asap!

even with a spray make sure you spray under the leaves thats the most important part of a spray against spider mites. GL

Looking at those images brings back a nightmare but reminds me of a victory =).

Dont cut away the fan leaves though as the remaining mites will just move from the nice juicy fan leaves that they love into your bud sites.
Leave as many leaves on as you can and just keep wiping them down as mostly they lay their eggs nearer to the stems and then the hatchlings move out to the big juicy leaves.

Obviously if you have cut the big leaves off they will just eat your bud:evil:
If ever you notice mites at all in the future immediately increase the humidity to reduce them breeding and go straight to wiping.:blsmoke:

Hello all,
Im new to you forums, and I have just got back in to growing. But the best thing I have found for those lil bastages is soapy water, I use dawn mixed with a little distilled water. Then i put some on a paper towel and wipe them down by hand leaf by leaf, you can even put the solution on your fingers and get them even better hope this help and good luck bro.
