i got this shit that fixes the water . its like 1 capfull per 5 gallons of water and i use it everytime , it nutralizes saltwater and removes chlorine and etc bro . if i had soem money to ship some to you i would but i got to get my funds up bro . lol
 
whats it called?? and how long does it take to work?? i have a de-cholorinator.. and it takes a lot of the shit out.. just not as much as i want... but if it neutralizes salts wouldnt that also affect the nutes themselves?? since nutes are technically themselves salts, and there is a chemical that neutralizes the salts in the water, wouldnt that neutralize the nutes in the end??

i dont think so bro because i use it in my water each time i make a batch of food for her bro , the name is Aqua plus tap pateint stress reducer. so it stops stress on your plants as well. and it takes about 5-10 mins to fully work and it add air to your water as well

ok its nice shit tho bro and i have to use it because we have fucking tower water and it stinks and smells like bull shittahhhh lol. i spend plenty fucking money on damn bottled water bro or get it from wal-mart the jugs you can fill up thats the shit man taste kinda weird but its good though
 
i dunno.. i would just be worried about it affecting the nutes.. especially since mine shit recirculates for a week... ill do some reading on it tho.. maybe pick some up if it sounds good... i still will end up getting a RO machine tho..

took some pics of the girls this morning... you can see where im at now... i've got 3 "generations" of plants growing that will all get flowered at the same time... so here is the run down..

the first generation is what im considering the white shark and blueberry... they were the first ones in the system.. and have a little over 4 weeks of solid vegging... although from early stresses and the "great flood of '09" they dont look like it...

the second generation are the plants that are not sprouts, but not vegged near as long as the white shark/bb.... they are the gigabud, strawberry cough, and bluehash... i think i will also include the OG kush clone and the white shark clone in the "gen 2" category as well..

and the third generation is the 5 sprouts i have working... the 3 super lemon haze and the 2 matanuska tundra...

you can see on the large white shark and the "gen 2" plants that arent clones the remaining damage from the nute burn... the both are returning to normal growth very nicely.. the white shark has much further to go ecause she damn near lost all her leaves... but she's starting to green up again and is regrowing her lost vegetation... same as the other gen 2 girls...

other than that there isnt much to tell ya.. i know the pics arent too exciting.. but at least its a reference to have for later when they start growing...

so.. what have we learned thus far into my grow... well if you plan or dont plan but end up with a 90 degree grow room it is essential to have a water chiller if running hydroponics... even tho my floros are just as strong (or stronger) than the hps lamps i have the hps is much more likely to kill sprouts than the floros... and a 2 hour flood the day after a res change is not good for anything except killing a few plants...

NO MORE EQUIPMENT FAILURES!!
NO MORE EXCESSIVE HEAT!!
NO MORE FRYING OF MY PLANTS!!

thats the goal at least... gonna keep a lower ec incase of another flood... temps are nothing to worry about as i have the chiller... and im keeping the hps lamps a ways from the sprouts until they get established well...

so this is it... its full steam ahead.. no more dumb shit.. no more set backs.. just good karma and good growing... im saying ill switch to 12/12 september first... that gives a good month of vegging for the plants.. i just hope the blue berry and white shark "gen 1's" dont get ridiculously tall during that time..

thanks bro... the white shark looks sooo sad tho.. she was soo full of life before hand.. i would say 80% of her foliage dropped off from the nute burn... i cant wait until she fills back out...

they will be looking nice.. ive been paying attention to them all... checking on them multiple times a day every few hours... just incase something was going wrong i could pull them and possibly save them if they werent happy.. but good news is that they are all taking and showing new growth... so i think i will probably end up running another week with a 1.0 EC, maybe a little higher, and let them get a little bigger before turning up the nute strength... i wont need to change until tuesday... so ill see how they grow between now and then and base the nute strength on it then...
 
are u gonna prune that blueberry or lollipop her, shes looking like a hedge bush! also ss are u gonna start cloning ur established females, especially all these bomb strains uve bought by seed?

i dont think i am going to prune the bb.. i am really unsure how to prune it at this point.. like you said she is a bush.. im not sure if i should just FIM a bunch of tops of it.. or top a couple spots... or what... do you have any suggestions?? i would like to do something tho.. shes so beautiful!!

i am definatly going to take cuttings.. but i have to wait until a couple weeks before harvest to take the cuttings... the biggest issue is i wont have a light i can put on 24/0 for the clones... so i have to work on getting something set up for them.. and then i think i am going to get larger rooting blocks.. like the 5x5 or 6x6 ones... that way i can just take large cuttings from them.. but since i still dont have my flower room setup, i will have to flower in the veg room again.. which means my timing is going to be fucked... but you better bet i will take clones.. i figure if i take 4 cuttings from each plant, that will give me 48 total cuttings.. that means as soon as i have my new flower room set up i can throw a bunch of them straight into 12/12 to start a new harvest crop sooner plus give me the 12 i would need to fill the normal veg room up... make sense?? its somewhat like you did.. i just cant buy the clones like you... lol
 
neither can i ..my boys bouncing out of state, back to where hes from. it wuz more a less a 1time deal and after i chopped those 8 huge male papyas..he only charged me 350 for the 11 all female massive clones. so for 700 bills i had those and ur cloner, now self sufficient will all the same shit he gave me + the blueberry were running and PK. the ezcloner is wut its name implys..ive never been happier. the only thing ill have to concern myself with is not makeing too many clones.

but back on topic, i think u should lollipop it, u already have so many growing shoots + lil side branches are coming up off those already. i would just clear the bottom 6in of the stem of any growth, and id probably clone that shit. maybe against riu judgement remove a few of the bigger fan leaves between larger branchs in the center to let more air and light inbetween. idoont know thats wut i do and its been working pretty good. i guess my blue counter part isnt worth comparing because i broke a good 1/2 of her off during its final transplant, and ive nute burned her. but ill throw up a pic in my journal in a minute. f/t j o b going good bro. scored a 2k posterpedic seally delux pillow top 3rd day on the job, never slept better. oh ya KING size!!

thats not a bad spend for 700.. the cloner is the shit isnt it?? i cant wait to get my 60 site one.. i wish i would have got that before... but the 30 site would have been plenty good if i hadnt expanded... never thought i would expand in the beginning tho...

do you know much about the large rooting cubes?? how long can they hold clones before they need to be transplanted??

i was going to lollipop.. but unless i figure out a way to hold some clones for 2 months while all the large plants flower i cant save the cuttings for clones.. so unless i can figure something out i dont want to lollipop because ill need those lower branches for clones later... does that make sense?? i wish i could get ahold of a 400w ballast and bulb... that would be the shit.. and solve all my problems..
 
why not throw some clones in cubes and veg em for awhile under some cfls, in any sorta space? why wait to the end? even if u dont have another fully capible veg room , i know it wouldnt take u much to create a small space for some clones right. i do see wut ur saying if ur wanting to hold out, youll want all that popcorn shit to clone off of. but id think u rather have some half way ready when ur done with these..

as far as the cubes ive never really used them, MG is the man on that end, especially for cloning purpose. he'll know for sure.
 
yeah i guess that is true.. it wouldnt take shit to set up a little clone closet... ill have to talk to mg and find out about some of those cubes.. but yea.. ill just get that done and set up soon so i can be ready when im good to go... i think ill go get like 3 x Y-splitters and run 300w cfls from them for the clones...
 
ya bro thatll be plenty to suspend and grow out some clones, and theyll be so much faster / resilient taken off those moms while in veg than like u say reverting them last moment. and even if ur new closet is cramped, and half asses itll be far worth haveing a shit load of clones to pick from in there. mg wuz sayn less than a week with presoaked cubes in a dome and tray. . sound pretty easy. and if they out grow the closet just top the shit out of em with no remorse and create more #'s since u dont have to concern urself with limits...
 
you think i should wait until a couple weeks into flower to lollipop and take the clones since the closet ill use will be small.. and that will also limit the amount of growth i have to worry about them doing while im flowering the other girls?? or should i lollipop a week before flowering like i normally would and just contend with whatever growth i have to contend with as it comes??
