Just the opposite.
I've grown some of my best looking plants in ffof years ago. Tried it again recently to compare it to my own soil mix that I've been reamending for 5 years.
I find ffof gets a bad wrap because the PH drops off from aggressive growing and some growers misread a PH problem for a calcium problem.
A lime top dressing would solve a lot of problems 4 or 5 weeks into a ffof grow IMO.

Almost everyone that has problems has been using FF. Had couple friends use FF they had problems like no tmrw. Told them to switch out and problem was gone. Now I'm comparing nutrient bases, I've used AN sensei line and GH 3 part so far. As far as quality goes I feel AN is better. I will be testing out H&G Soil A/B on half of my crop while using GH on the other half
