Gareth Edwards directing, he directed the newest Godzilla with Bryan Cranston that sucked balls.. Seems relatively new to me, not sure why Disney would hand such a huge project over to someone like that, but if they think he's good enough, I'll wait and see it before I make a judgment..
Screenplay by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy, both have pretty solid records
Story by John Knoll and Gary Whitta, both solid records (JK particularly impressive)
Good cinematography and editing
Looks like it should be a pretty great movie based on the team they've assembled

The shot of the Star Destroyers next to the Death Star is fuckin' awesome!! It really puts things in perspective. The shot of the dish going into the weapons bay is also legit as fuck! Really well done trailer, they didn't show too much. Darth Vader makes an appearance, stoked to see what kind of dialogue we get from him!

Finally got to see some real rage from him. I mean it's subtle in almost every other movie, but I think we get to finally see just exactly how pissed he really is when he's burning rebels down. That part where he levitates that dude and then slices him in half; HOLY SHIT! lol
I liked it way better than the first one.
